Sports and recreation: In the area surrounding the house, there are scenic hiking and biking trails to explore, offering impressive views of the mountains and the lake. Right from the house, you can set out on scenic bike rides in all directions, e.g., around Lake Ammersee, the Weilheim-Stoa route by Bernd Zimmer, the Wessobrunner region, the Lech Valley, Achselschwang, and northern lakeside towns, etc. Bikes can be stored securely in the garage. The Ammersee beach is a 5-minute drive away, as are tennis and equestrian facilities, as well as sailboat and rowboat rentals. Two good restaurants with shaded gardens are a 10–15-minute walk away, and a well-equipped children’s playground is just a 5-minute walk away. An 18-hole golf course set in a beautiful park-like landscape is 8 km away. There is a skate park in town.
