It has bedroom with super-king sized bed (which can be split into 2 singles if required), shower room, kitchenette and sitting room. It lies within the grounds of our house. Rose Barn is situated in a beautiful quiet village on the edge of Salisbury Plain, It has perfect getaway quality while being close to the towns of Devizes (6miles), Marlborough (20 miles), Bath (25 miles) and main area attractions such as Stonehenge and Avebury. There are plenty of excellent local walks. We made the most of our short stay by visiting Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury and Bath. Being December it was lovely returning to a warm and cosy Rose Barn. Our host had provided homemade jam, butter, milk and bread for our first English breakfast - it was fantastic. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with fields and meadows - and that there were several historical sites within reasonable distance. Half an hour to Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Old Sarum and about one hour (perhaps a bit more) to Lord Nelson’s ship, Jane Austin’s house and Windsor Castle. We highly recommend Rose Barn. ##### Peter N. The Building is well designed and very clean/comfortable. We walked into town for supper and the Churchill Arms and enjoyed our visit. After dinner we walked up the hill and were greeted by stunning countryside views.
