Welcome to our quaint, beautifully-renovated, and well-appointed three-bedroom ranch in Livonia! Updated with modern fixtures and a new kitchen featuring butcher block countertops, a new gas range, and subway-style tile backsplash, this is the perfect getaway or work retreat. Relax with the family and friends in our fully-fenced-in rear yard featuring a river-rock sitting area with in-ground stone fire pit along with Adirondack chairs and string lights! We also have a propane grill so you can do a cookout! Our home features central AC and heating to make sure you stay comfortable, and with three cozy bedrooms (each with its own smart TV so you can log into your favorite apps), two full bathrooms, our home is the perfect place to rest and relax! We are super centrally-located, offering a roughly-25-min drive to both downtown Detroit, Ann Arbor, Birmingham/Royal Oak/Ferndale (and surrounding neighborhoods), and also to DTW Airport. Our location also provides easy access via highways and public transportation to all of your other favorite spots in Southeast Michigan. Come enjoy this perfect little home for any gathering or getaway!

Our home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the main floor along with the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Our laundry room is located in the basement down a full flight of stairs.

Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 3:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!

Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout drapes in each bedroom.

In addition to the three queen beds, our space features a queen size pullout couch and a queen-sized air mattress! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:



We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.



We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.



Parking

Please park in our driveway to the right-hand side of the house! If you need extra parking, there’s plenty of free street parking in front of the house as well!



Entry

The unit is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door. Enter the unique code we'll provide you the week before your stay begins, and press the CHECK to unlock.



When leaving, enter your code and press the CHECK to lock the door.



Our Availability

We are available whenever you need! Please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions. For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!



Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Pullout couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!



Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find two bath towels and two hand towels, two pillows, a quilt or comforter, a set of sheets and two pillowcases.



House Rules

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:



- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.

- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.

- Please leave your shoes at the door.

- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.

- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.

- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
