Excellent pool with sharp poolside service. Hotel is located adjacent to Udawalawe National Park Excellent safari coordinated by hotel, fully facilitated from start to finish. The restaurant staff was particularly kind and hospitable - run, don't walk to the hotel. »

« We had a fantastic stay here. The house & setting are just beautiful, so peaceful & the hosts are so welcoming & friendly. The bed was so comfortable! We had an evening meal here which was home cooked & delicious. We had an early start the following day for a Jeep safari we’d booked through the hosts & we were sent off with a huge packed breakfast. The safari was fabulous too, the guide was so knowledgeable about Udawele Park. Wish we could have stayed longer! »

« Accueil au top, on est reçu avec un jus de fruit fraîchement fait, les chambres sont spacieuses, avec une petite terrasse et un salon de jardin en bois, 1 gel douche, 1 shampooing et 1 lotion lime/cinnamon dans la salle de bain, un espace détente avec un terrain de badminton, des échecs et une piscine très agréable, les repas sont préparés minutes et avec attention, prix très corrects. Emplacement idéal à - de 10' du parc. Des hôtes en or, une bouteille d'eau donnée quand je suis partie à 5h45...

« We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

« Für uns etwas ganz Neues, und eine große, angenehme Überraschung. Einfach alles war perfekt. Ein sehr romantischer Ort!!! Chnaka , der uns während des Aufenthalts rundum betreute, war mit einem netten Lächeln immer für uns da und zauberte nie gesehene, sehr leckere Speisen am Abend und zum Frühstück. Auf einer kleinen Wanderung sahen und erfuhren wir viel über Pflanzen, Tiere und mehr Die Safari sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Wer sie mit Sanduka als Guide macht, hat doppelt Glück...

« La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend...

« Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. »

"Accueil au top, on est reçu avec un jus de fruit fraîchement fait, les chambres sont spacieuses, avec une petite terrasse et un salon de jardin en bois, 1 gel douche, 1 shampooing et 1 lotion lime/cinnamon dans la salle de bain, un espace détente avec un terrain de badminton, des échecs et une piscine très agréable, les repas sont préparés minutes et avec attention, prix très corrects. Emplacement idéal à - de 10' du parc. Des hôtes en or, une bouteille d'eau donnée quand je suis partie à 5h45 pour mon safari (ils peuvent vous l'organiser), à midi, Ils m'ont proposé le petit déjeuner si est inclus mais que je n'avais pas pris et le bus pour aller vers Tangalle passe devant chez eux, mais sur à un blocage, la dame m'a gentiment emmenée en scooter jusqu'à la station suivant et s'est assurée que je suis bien dans le bus. Des gens adorables. Allez-y les yeux fermés !"
