« We have stayed here many times and generally it’s been very good, however on this occasion things were not on song, our first night the room was very noisy as a function was taking place and loud disco music until 1am, please avoid room 106. I did voice my complaint and reception staff moved us to a different room much better nights sleep second night. Reference to room 106, bed not comfortable and very low, bathroom was cold towel rail not heating up and loo seat falls down as won’t stay up....

« Un très bon endroit pour passer une nuit lors de notre périple jusqu'en Ecosse. La chambre était très confortable, et très calme. Le restaurant était plutôt agréable avec une remise pour les résidents de l'hôtel. Juste une petite chose à savoir, l'hôtel n'est pas situé à Doncaster, car le GPS nous a amené dans la rue qui porte le même nom à Doncaster centre ville. La chambre est confortable et spacieuse dans un pur style anglais avec lit à baldaquin et meubles anciens. Enfin des prises électriques à côté de la table de nuit! « Yes it was terrible. On arrival, they changed our room several times. There was no heating and no warm water. we complained to the management and was told we would get a refund but nothing was done. We didn't go the 2nd night and we still didn't get anything. Reported to expedia, was told they would look into it but it's been weeks now and no feedback. It's so sad because I have had multiple unpleasant experience with expedia and only just returned. « So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel! This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel. We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building.
