« The pool was closed for renovations which was not disclosed on expedia or the hotels website for this location. Had it been disclosed, we never would have stayed; however, due to booking same day, no refund was available. Very disappointing!!! »

« We have family in the Tylertown area and usually stay at their place when we come for a visit. This time we decided to rent a place for the two nights and found Colbys River Retreat. Jolla was an awesome host. Greeted us to show us the functuins in the rv and gave us a bag of fresh picked blueberries. She was incredibly nice the rv was clean and had eerything you woukd need. « What a unique space! There were so many cool little features in the cabin and on the property. It was freezing cold when we stayed, and we stayed nice and warm inside most of the time. We enjoyed the hot tub as well, it was nice and warm when the temps outside were not. It was so cozy inside, we missed the sunset from the hidden swing we had planned, it would have been the perfect view. Literally the only thing this place doesnt have is a fireplace, but the gane room made up for it! The beds...

« We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin on the river. This cabin is perfect for 2 (and a water-loving dog) and has everything you need. We enjoyed hanging out in the river all day and relaxing on the porch at night listening to nature. We had the best weekend and can’t wait to go back!
