Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen, den, and living area—and start each morning with a fresh cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking the Gulf. Pelican Beach Resort is truly first-class, offering outstanding amenities in a prime Destin location. The resort sits directly across from Big Kahuna’s Water Park and is close to many popular restaurants. Guests enjoy two heated pools—one outdoor with a waterfall and one indoor/outdoor—along with a kiddie pool and hot tub. A brand-new beachfront pool sits next to the Tiki Hut, creating the perfect spot to relax by the water. All pools are open and available. Additional resort amenities include a fitness center, game room, umbrella and chair rentals, tennis and basketball courts, 24-hour security at the entrance, covered parking, and a seasonal on-site deli/restaurant/convenience store. Located on the 19th floor, our condo offers sweeping ocean views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. This 1-bedroom, 2-bath unit is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and carries a Deluxe-Plus rating—the highest rating available at Pelican Beach. Inside, you’ll find Cali Bamboo flooring throughout and a beautifully updated kitchen featuring custom quartz countertops with accent lighting to set the perfect mood. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils needed for anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed with its own private bath, while custom built-in bunk beds in the hallway provide additional sleeping space. The sleeper sofa in the living area is incredibly comfortable—ideal for extended stays. This gulf-front unit gives guests the very best of the Emerald Coast: shimmering white sand, blue-green waters, and sunrise views right from the private balcony—perfect for planning your day in paradise. Destin offers endless dining, shopping, and activities. Many nearby restaurants are long-time local favorites. Silver Sands Premium Outlets is just seven miles east, while the Destin Commons outdoor mall—featuring shops, dining, entertainment, and a movie theater—is a short drive away. Fort Walton Beach offers a great fishing pier, and deep-sea fishing charters are just up the street. Originally a fishing village, Destin still provides some of the best fishing on the Gulf Coast. The view from the balcony is amazing and on two of our mornings we enjoyed our coffee on the lanai while dolphin watching. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. There’s a closet with beach chairs, an umbrella, pool floats, beach toys, etc. We enjoyed two of the pools as well as the beach along with food and drink service from the tiki bar. There’s no washer and dryer in the condo however they are only 4 doors down near the elevators. The condo is in a great location not too far from some amazing restaurants and shopping. We had the best stay in this beautiful condo! Everything was exactly as pictured and the view is STUNNING. We watched dolphins at 6:30 every morning from the balcony. The resort is so nice and has anything you could possibly need. The pools are heated and kept clean and all of the staff were amazing. We can't wait to stay again. ##### Janna M. The view of the ocean from the living room and balcony is spectacular. The bed was very comfortable. The best thing is how easy it was to work with the owners on the reservation. The condo, the location, and the service far exceeded our expectations! We went to dinner at a different restaurant each of the 5 nights and the furthest we drove was 1.6 miles from the condo. The condo was clean, well equipped, and the complex was awesome. we will definitely make this our go to place every time we stay in the Destin! Great beds. Great kitchen. Only problem we had is the washing machine was out on the 19th floor, after multiple attempts to use a washing machine on a different floor we gave up and asked the front desk for a few extra towels and her response was "this is home away from home, wash your towels". I would give it a 5 star but will have to go with 4.5 due to the ice maker didn't seem to work. Pelican does not have ice but their restaurant sells ice but I didn't buy from them. My family and I had a wonderful week in the sun and enjoyed all the property had to offer. Strongly suggest reserving chairs for the beach through the separate company. Check-in & out was flawless. We only had 2 disappointments (and neither of them were with the owners and both are completely out of their control.) #1 We drove to the public beach down the road 4 days because the beach area at the resort is a joke. There are no front row seats available to rent and if you bring your own chairs, they make you sit in the back row, where you can’t see the ocean at all. #2 The oceanfront pool & hot tub closes at 7pm. We were very disappointed since we love our nights swims. The resort is in a great location and near a ton of entertainment. We did enjoy our stay! ##### Mike & Kate D. We arrived at 4pm and they released it the unit 2 hours later. They said unit wasn't ready, as well I went to the unit and was empty en ready. They supposed to call me whenever be ready and they didn't. I WENT 3 TIMES to the front desk until I requested the manager as soon I spoke with the manager they gave me the code Right away.
