RIGHT ON THE SUGAR, WHITE, SAND BEACH!! #1112 AWESOME VIEW!

Pelican Beach resort is a family friendly complex! Voted the #2 best beach in Florida! by southern Living Magazine. Not surprisingly, the water is an awesome blue green color that the gulf is famous for. My condo is a premium condo on the 11th floor. One of the few, with the extra large balconies! What a fabulous view!. Tile floors throughout. you can have your morning coffee on the balcony and look at the sugar white sandy beach and the brilliant aquamarine water. See the sunrise, watch the dolphin play, see pelicans dive, and the manatee swim. At night, look left and see the colored lights of the city of Destin. This condo has the best views in Destin.
AND OF COURSE......WIFI!!
Two bedrooms, both with private baths. Master has a king bed and guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have private baths. Master bedroom has a tub/shower. Guest bedroom has a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have flat screen tvs. As well as a flat screen tv in the living area. Master bedroom has sliding screen doors to the balcony. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean! The updated kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring the chef! The dining area seats 6 and the two bar stools add two more quests. The loving area is quite spacious with floor length mirrors to enhance the view! the pull out couch has a queen mattress. All the comforts of home!

Arrival is easy! No waiting to check in. Go right to the elevator to the 11th floor. There is an electronic lock with a numeric code. I will provide the code as your dates approaches. Don't worry about loosing your keys at the beach. For security ...no one has the code but you! The code changes with each guest and will change when you leave. So take everything when you leave. You won't be able to get back in!

Everything was wonderful except you need to know if you bring your own chairs instead of paying for the ones on the beach, you will have to sit behind everyone, not near the water.

Perfect beach stay for a small family

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Pelican Beach Resort in Ms. Barbara’s condo. Everything was as listed and we were very satisfied. The master bed was very firm and we didn’t much care for that but otherwise for an older resort, the condo was well kept. The pools and beach services were great as well. We look forward to staying here again!

If you are looking for a place to stay with family, i recommend this condo. You are right on the beach and it is so easy to get to and from. The condo itself is super cute. The balcony is giant and very relaxing. We had zero issues with the entire stay.

Totally enjoyable trip

Everything was spot on for our trip, great location, very nice condo, of course beautiful beach views. We have been going to this area for over 20 years, but usually more towards Sea Side. Being in Destin was nice as it is so close to everything. We were there before spring break so traffic restaurants etc not crowded at all. Barb was excellent to work with, the condo is very well stocked with everything we needed. great views and overall very comfortable place to be. We plan on doing again next year

Enjoyed our vacation on the beautiful beaches of Destin and in this rental! Gorgeous views of sunrises from the balcony, peaceful relaxing days spent on the beach and at the pool! Loved the location and especially the master bedroom! The 2nd bedroom and beds were a little small for our family but would be perfect for a family with younger children. Overall the unit was great- just a few things worn down with use (to be expected) however we would definitely rent it again!

Fantastic place to stay

Our family of six had an amazing stay (kids aged 4, 11,13 and 16) we had plenty of room for everyone. The location is stunning, the pictures do not even come close to in person. There are three pools, and this unit is close to the elevator. The washer and dryer was such an awesome addition for our family, and now that will be a requirement at any place we stay from here on out! This property is absolutely beautiful and we would hands down stay here again.

Destin Getaway

We had an amazing time. The property and location were fantastic. There are several shops, attractions, and restaurants within walking distance (10 to 15 min), but would recommend having a car to experience all that Destine has to offer. Barbara the host was great and answered all our questions promptly. Next time we come to Destine will definitely consider staying in this property again and working with Barbara. Thank you!

Amazing location and Condo

We stayed here with our 3 young children and have nothing but amazing things to say! The condo was spotless and the host was so accommodating and responded to my questions very quickly. We loved being directly on the beach and the condo was well stocked with everything you would ever need for cooking. The location is in the heart of everything. We could even walk to ice cream, Alvin’s island and Winn Dixie. If we come back to Destin we would 100 percent book this place again. Don’t hesitate.. book now before it’s taken!

Great Stay

My siblings and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location!!! Easy to get around to pools, beach, cafe', etc. Barbara is an excellent host. The only negative aspect is that the previous guest had broken the washer and the repair hadn't been done before our arrival. We would have packed differently has we known the washer was out of order. Other than that is was PERFECT!

We were very impressed and happy that the condo was exactly as advertised. The condo was cozy with a great view and balcony. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. You could sit in the sun in the morning and relax in the shade later in the day. We were able to see the fireworks from the front door balcony and didn’t have to drive anywhere! Barbara was responsive when we had a question. All around positive experience!

Great location, beautiful views!

Easy check in. Polite owner. Everything as advertised. I think the queen bed needs replacing; worn out. The sofa needs replacing; cushions don’t cushion anymore. It rained on our trip which resulted in more indoor time, so a comfy sofa would’ve been great. Otherwise a fantastic stay. BTW washer/dryer work great!
