(2 chairs, 1 Umbrella) Located within the gates of Silver Dunes Condominiums, offering a relaxing, safe, and wonderful vacation getaway in this Gulf Front unit (non-smoking) with unmatched privacy and breathtaking panoramic views of the gulf, the pool, and the one acre “green” courtyard.This unit is located on the fourth floor in the C building. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a king, queen, double bed, and a sleeper sofa. Will sleep 8 people. Washer and dryer and other upgrades, Blue-Ray in living room and granite counter tops. This unit overlooking beautiful views of the beach, grassy courtyard and pool. You can access this unit by stairs or using the elevator. Non smoking Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks. Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge! Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!). Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key. Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes: • Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard • Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest! • Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. Séjour de 7 nuits en avril 2021 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Carmen H. 11 avr. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Low Key Condo Complex with Wonderful View My two daughters, grandson, and I spent a relaxing week at this condo. This super clean condo is located in a smaller and more intimate complex. The pool is heated and well maintained although the loungers are super uncomfortable since made with some type of hard plastic. My grandson enjoyed the day he spent in the pool. We also appreciated the gated security of the complex. The top floor corner unit afforded a wonderful view of the beach especially in the Master bedroom. It was also nice not having anyone above us. So the unit/complex was very quiet. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook in. With COVID, we always cook our meals. The photos show a more spacious condo, but it currently has more furniture than necessary plus HUGE TV screens that really detract from over-all space in the living room plus gave it a very crowded feel. The beds are very comfortable. It was nice to have a queen and full-size beds rather than twins in the second bedroom. The leather living room couch and loveseat plus recliner are also super comfy. All other furnishings are old and outdated and could use update. For the high cost per night that we paid, we thought it was really cheesy for the owner not to provide beach chairs. The beach concession charges an exorbitant amount per week for two chairs and umbrella. As an super-host on a different rental platform, I provide my guests with everything possible that I myself would want. It's been years since last visit to Destin and I must say it has changed quite a bit. It was annoying that the beach concessions put the chairs and umbrellas so close to the water' s edge that made it impossible to walk on the beach in some areas. Also, one cannot bring their own beach chair unless it was behind the concession provided loungers and umbrellas. Therefore, we found it a lot nicer to spend the day at Henderson Beach State Park where we could setup wherever we wanted. Even though the crystal clear water and soft white sand is one of the most beautiful beaches I've experienced, Destin has lost its allure due to the heavy commercialization. We recommend this condo based on the location, cleanliness, kitchen appointments, privacy and bed comfort. ##### Carmen H.
