It has all you need for cooking in the kitchen. The only thing I would suggest is a grill outside. The stairs onto the front porch need some TLC as they have built-up grime and are slippery when wet and a little shaky. The back door had a ramp going up which made it easier for my elderly mother to walk in. Overall this was a great property to rent and I will definitely go back. ##### Karen H. It was a busy holiday weekend so when in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg area is was crowded, but were able to relax back at the cabin. A pile of dirty towels was thrown on the bed, EVERY dish, pot, pan or utensil had to be rewashed. they were ALL covered in dried food and or grease. Old open expired foods in the fridge, Stove top was covered in thick grease AND chunks of food and the sink had old food in the drains. The toilet had a ring of mold and the seat and underneath of the seat were covered in urine and poop. We left a day early, I messaged the owner. He replied "send the pictures and I will get to the bottom of this." After sending the pictures, I have heard nothing else, If you do not mind having to clean the place you are renting so you can be away and relaxed, this is the place for you. However, if you are not interested in E-coli or other peoples sweat, dirt and ick, be smarter that I was...... Move on! If you choose to stay here, May the germs be in your favor ##### Diane F. Jun 22, 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Don't Do It On check-in day, Eric, the property owner, was late in giving us the access code to the property, which is typically not a problem, especially if I am running late for check-in. The only problem here is, nowhere in the listing does it say you will also not have cell signal at the Cabin. The owner is aware of this as he told me in a message but it is not communicated in the description. In addition, our family arrived after dark, the next big mistake. The location of this cabin is secluded as described, but you have to go through a very sketchy area to get there. Then there are many lane gravel roads, many which were washed out and our family was sliding at midnight! Only to get to the cabin and realize there is no cell signal and I don't have a code. So in the early morning hours we had to travel back down to get a signal (40 minutes) and were not going to risk going back up since we slid all over the first time. I rented a hotel room alternatively since this cabin was not as described. When I contacted the owner, Eric blew off my requests. He did offer to refund my 80 cleaning fee. I was out my rental on this and still had to find safer accomidations for my family. Renters beware. There is likely a reason no reviews have been given in over a year. The description is not accurate. I contacted VRBO directly and am waiting for results. Save yourself some time and money rent another place or a hotel like I did. ##### Jay M. The property was clean and up to date with all the amenities you need. It is a drive to places like Gatlinburg but this is why we chose it. We spend time doing the touristy stuff but enjoyed leaving the hustle and bustle to enjoy the peace and quiet. The co hosts were so sweet and took the time to drive us around the town and all the back roads to aome hidden gems. We enjoyed learning about the area and visiting some of their friends homes as well as their own. We are actually thinking about buying some land there to build!
