Only 4.5 miles to Blue Ridge Parkway, “Up The Creek” is centrally located close to Boone, West Jefferson, Wilkesboro and Blowing Rock. The property has hiking trails, crystal clear creek for swimming and a nice deck built on creek with grill, also fire pit. Great getaway if peace and tranquility is what you seek but still close enough to Explore surrounding towns. There is WiFi at this unit. The cabin is outstanding with a magnificent view of the creek and is perfectly decorated and well stocked to make sure we had everything we might need. We spent time hiking the creek and also we're very close to the parkway and spent some time on the mountain to sea trail. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed at the cabin and was extremely responsive ever. We had a question or needed anything. Great escape if you are looking for some peace while still having access to the areas major attractions. The driveway is fairly steep but very manageable under normal weather conditions. I would probably recommend a 4 wheel drive if there is any snow. From my experience the driveway is not uncommon for many mountain homes. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek! Loved the picnic table on porch and enjoyed our meals on porch. Super clean and loved the decor and all the wood work pieces in the cabin.
