Beach View - Kingsdown Resort

Beach View is a picturesque, timber lodge-style chalet set within a holiday park in the popular village of Kingsdown. Sleeping six comfortably, there is a double bedroom with kingsize bed and a twin room upstairs, along with a toilet and wash basin.
Downstairs, there is a third bedroom housing bunk beds, a bathroom, kitchen and open plan lounge/dining room. The chalet is fully equipped with tv; dvd; Freeview; power shower; oven; hob; washing machine and dishwasher and is fully equipped with all the utensils and other items you could possibly need for your stay. Bed linen and towels are also available to hire.
Out the back there is a beautiful decked terrace with bbq and dining set, where you can eat while gazing at the stunning coastal views.
To the front, the chalet enjoys charming views of the holiday park and to the side is a well-maintained children's play park. Also on site is a swimming pool, bar/lounge; children's entertainment centre; table tennis and tennis courts.
Unfortunately no pets are allowed in the park.

Lovely chalet. Everything we needed and more. Beautiful outside seating area with view of the sea. The holiday park is well-run and has a nice atmosphere with guests respecting each other. The swimming pool is excellent and the other activities also fun. It's really well situated for many points of interest. Definitely great for English Heritage membership. Dover Castle is impressive with so much to do. Good places to eat out too.Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with and gave us very helpful information about all the facilities. Definitely would recommend.

Süsses Häusschen mit Meerblick

Das kleine Häuschen in dem sehr netten familiären Chalet Park hat uns super gefallen. Man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und muss nur ein paar Meter die Straße runter laufen zum Meer. Das Haus hat alles was man benötigt von Backofen über Mikrowelle und es gibt tolle Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder. Der Pool war leider geschlossen, dafür haben wir den Tennisplatz und den Minigolf Platz genutzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder ganz lieben Dank. !

Wonderful stay

Superb location, brilliant stay

We had a fantastic stay with 4 adults and our baby. The location of the site and chalet are super. The view from the rear terrace is great all day long. Would recommend the chalet for families and friends.

Seaside gem

Our stay at Kingsdown was magical. These chalets are a wee hidden gem close to Deal. Number 19 is clean, tidy and decorated in a modern "scandi" way. Reanne was a fantastic host. I couldn't fault our stay and would highly recommend visiting.

Very nice stay

The house was exactly what we expected. Tiny but not too small. All the kitchen applies were available, so you can cook an outstanding meal. The property was an overall great experience.

Absolutely stunning

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The sea views were amazing and the fact that the beach was in walking distance was even better. The on site facilities were good to have access to, though we preferred to explore our surroundings instead. Supermarkets were within 2 to 3 miles from the accommodation which was handy. The people on the grounds and in the local area were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be revisting.

Great little place but unfortunately the cleaning company let it down

Over all we had a nice time at the property the facility’s were good. We did play table tennis and visit the pool also we used the on site shop. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need but unfortunately the cleaning was not up to scratch. Spare bedding was yellow we found body hair in the sink and what appeared to be pubes in the largest bed. When we first got there the kids ran in to open all the doors to explore, they happened to open a closet next to the stairs and it was full of mouse droppings and extremely dirty so had I of had a baby or a small child I would have been extremely worried. I did email the owner and ask if she was aware of the lack of cleanliness and she didn’t bother replying. I will probably go back but not to that cabin just because I didn’t even get a reply to my email.

Lovely little property

Not ideal for tall people like my 6ft3 partner but it’s quaint and cosy. Bed not very comfortable either but it was only a place to sleep in we spent a lot of our time out exploring. Overall a nice stay.

Good location, poor housekeeping

Location is great with lots to do around the area, holiday park seems to have given up since covid, only outdoor activities open and shop empty. The cabin itself had everything as listed however, the cleanliness was awful, and defentely not a full covid deep clean as stated, evidence of the resident mouse and build up of dust/dirt around the place. Lack of structured cleaning regime and general maintenance has let this place down.

Very unhappy customer

We have stayed on this site for many years as has other members of the family. To say we were disappointed at this chalet is an understatement. 1 The decking is dangerous as it is broken and rotting, it needs replacing. 2 A very worn sofa, not fit for sitting on, and only one other chair to sit on. This is suppose to house 4/6 people. 3 An illegal heater socket switch in the bathroom. This was opposite the bath and near the floor. Less than 1mtr away. Sparks came out when it was touched with dry hands. 4. No light on the landing at the top of the stairs. Switch didn't work. 5. It was advertised that there was a heater outside on the patio but there wasn't. 6. The bathroom door doesn't open/close properly.
