This completely renovated 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home (two primary suites) was updated in 2024 with new flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, and bedding. Multiple living areas make it ideal for families or groups seeking both togetherness and space to relax. Step out onto the spacious deck with hot tub and take in the mountain air.

Centrally located in Canaan Valley, you’re close to dining, shopping, trails, and all area amenities.
No pets allowed.

Great house, has been recently updated! New bathrooms and updated kitchen. Excellent location right next to Timberline mountain. We enjoyed using the fireplace (you can buy wood at the local market.) And kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Looking forward to coming back next year!!

13th Birthday Celebration Weekend

This place is even better in-person than the photos, beautiful place. It is the best stocked kitchen I have seen, that has anything that you would need. Great neighborhood with easy access to the property and an easy walk to a neighborhood market/cafe. The house has great amenities, nice areas to gather, play games, eat and sleep. Everything is brand new and very well kept. A wonderful place. You have to go to a local Real Estate Company to get the keys and information and then when you leave, you have to haul your garbage back there to dump. We were there only for a weekend and were fine with paper products even with a larger group but may come into play for longer period as they mention.

Nice weekend away

My family and I enjoyed our weekend away here! The house was perfect and we could have definitely invited more people! We loved the clean hottub with a nice fall view. The waterfalls and trails were super easy and accessible for us, as I took my two children 14 and 7. Absolutely beautiful area in the fall!

Two minute walk to the slopes. Spacious home, well appointed, hot tub was clean and a hot 104 degrees. Very friendly area, too.

Amazing Ski Vacation!

Our family rented this home in February 2022 for a ski vacation at Timberline Ski Resort. We could not have been more pleased with the property, particularly the location to the ski slopes. There were 7 people in our group=4 adults and 3 teens. We had ample room to sleep and congregate comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked (although we recommend bringing a cooking knife as we have found that most rentals homes lack super sharp cooking knives.) We prepared several meals in the kitchen with no problems. The location to the slope could not have been more perfect without being on the actual slope side. It was a very easy walk directly to the lift. Our party of various ski skills was able to come and go from Timberline easily for rest or lunch, etc. Even making the walk in ski boots was zero problem. The house is a bit dated (as seen in the pictures), but comfort is not a problem. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the hot tub after a day on the slopes. They also had plenty of various board games and magazines available for leisure. There is only one tv for the house, but that wasn't a problem for us as we were not there for tv watching anyway. The tv available has ample cable and a wide array of dvds.

Great Location & Plenty of Space

You can't get much closer to the slopes. Great place. A tiny bit outdated, but that doesn't matter much. Jacuzzi is a huge perk. The only downside is we couldn't cool down the interior temperature. So many heat controllers, we clearly couldn't turn them all down -- had to open windows all night. Had a great time regardless! Thanks!!

West Virginia Paradise

We have truly enjoyed our state at the property, and will definitely recommend it to our relatives and friends. The house is located in a picturesque and quiet place but very close to highway leading to state parks and other attractions. The interior of the house is very nice and create very pleasant atmosphere. The only recommendation to the owner is to replace plumbing equipment that is old and does not work very well.

Great Location to Timberline

The property is extremely close to Timberline. It was great being able to walk right to the mountain. The house could use some updates. One toilet and the coffee maker didn’t work properly. The master is missing blinds or any covering on one window. Furniture was worn and torn. However, for the price and the location, I would recommend it.

Overall nice spacious home with large deck. Home needs some updates with blinds, windows, carpeting and paneling in upstairs bedrooms. Musty smell in downstairs bedroom. Nice neighborhood and clean grounds. Did enjoy our stay!
