We saw not one but TWO sloths on the property, and both Capuchin and Squirrel Monkeys, not to mention the adorable Agouti that played near our patio. Then there are the birds…. So many! The room was a little weird with the bathroom sink quite a distance away in the living room, but this gave room for a bidet in the bathroom and for that I say THANK YOU! Also we almost died slipping on the bathroom floor but they provided a second towel and that issue was resolved. The bed, and the red lights by the bed were really nice. We had a lot of privacy off our patio so we slept with the curtains open and enjoyed the 5AM wake up calls of the Macaws and spent a lot of time enjoying the view. Our room was down a flight of stairs, and we had a few tent making bats surprise us at night. This is not a complaint….we loved it! The pools are all amazing with incredible sunset views and comfy chairs. We enjoyed the drinks the staff made for us and watched a sunset from the swim up bar one night. We had dinner twice at the hotel. Both times the food and the service were premium. The octopus appetizer is excellent! During dinner we had a 2-Toed Sloth make its way by even.
