We were visited by several animals right outside the room which was magical. Delicious breakfast included. Breakfast is alright - you have 3 to 4 options and you select the option you want. Room was good, internet good. The prime advantage is the location next to the national park. You have breakfast in the morning and can head to the park/beach. There is a backlane that you can walk straight to the beach - 5 minutes walk. There is a very good restaurant right opposite the hotel and it is very good. There is a mini market next door as well. Might as well be in the Park. A nice, small hotel literally a few steps from the Park entrance. A great location for the area. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. Good starting point for our Costa Rica trip. The monkeys on the roof in the morning were free-of-charge. Is this the Ritz? No, but it is clean and comfortable. The service and staff was amazing, the rooms were nice and cool and clean, the food was delicious, the location was ideal, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was so cool to be right in the jungle. We saw so many animals right outside our hotel including monkeys, iguanas, lizards, raccoons, and more.
