When we complained since this room was not the same quality, the receptist refused to assist. So be aware when you book - they have 3 rooms in the basement. Note, however, that we had a room at the back of the hotel, so it was quiet compared to those closer to the street, what with all the horns - particularly the bus horns. The windows in the room sealed well, and the temperature was such that we were comfortable with the window closed, a relief considering no air conditioning. The room was a reasonable size, and the double bed conducive to a good night's sleep. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but entirely accurate. The hotel was renovated in 2015, so is in good shape.
