We booked for 2 nights in the lead up to a hike and was so pleasantly surprised by the guest house. The rooms are dated but clean and have everything you need. Breakfast included was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace to enjoy our morning coffee. Location is also great, so close to many great cafes and restaurants short walk to the main square. They are always available. It is very close to the center, just a few steps away, and there are laundromats and shops around. It's just a bit cold, I recommend very warm clothing even at night. The staff were friendly and extremely kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good and I felt comfortable and safe in the house as well as in the area. Heads up to anyone that doesn’t speak Spanish, the staff only speaks Spanish. This isn’t a problem however with my limited Spanish knowledge it was sometimes difficult to understand each other. But later had to change to the first floor, no view and very very noisy. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear what they are talking about next door. The room was also very very cold! The bed had plenty of blankets so no problem to sleep but the floor was so cold. The owners didn’t speak English but the guy working in the evening does. The breakfast was actually really nice, I appreciate it a lot. The hot water in the shower is inconsistent and you would get one minute of hot water and then 5 minutes of cold water and so on, so you would shower for 1 minute and stand in the cold for minutes waiting for the water to get hot again to finish your shower, horrible experience. I stayed for 5 nights so I know what I am talking about.
