There was no air conditioning; only a fan provided air movement on a hot July night. Old coffee and the used coffee filter was still in the coffee maker. There was only one paper coffee cup and one towel on the room which tells me the room wasn’t serviced properly after the last guest. The bedding was very old and worn. The blanket (though unneeded) barely covered the surface of the bed. The manager did give us a good suggestion for dinner. That is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. ##### William Stayed 1 night in Jul 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### JOHN May 4, 2025 While overall okay there were some irritations about our room. First we had to wait outside in the cold since the desk was not serviced all the time. The bathroom floor was not very clean and all of the floors squeaked badly when walking on them. The queen size bed seemed very small. We only stayed here because it was halfway between Reno and Seattle. Also it is out in the middle of nowhere with only a convenience store and bar restaurant nearby. Private bathroom. Beds comfortable enough. Fridge, stove, plates, cooking supplies all available if needed. Room was rustic and cozy. Had everything we needed including shampoo conditioner soap and lotion. Shower pressure good, hot water. We were super happy, especially for the price. Little coffee shack in the parking lot had great breakfast options too. It's an older place but the room was very spacious, with a nice fireplace/woodstove to keep the room warm. was very cold and icy when I was there. There is a store across the street/hiway with food, gas and souvenirs. Desk staff were very helpful and professional. We will for sure be back. Family friendly place would be fun with kids in the warmer weather. Also a coffee wagon in parking lot.
