The microwave wasn’t cleaned out and our feet turned black from how dirty the floor was. They didn’t have a stopper for the bathtub and did not have wash clothes. It was nasty in there. It served its purpose for a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t go back. Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. Food wasn’t that great either. When we arrived to book in to the hotel, we found that they had rented our room to someone else and then denied that we had even had a booking. We were able to show them, on their computer system, that this was untrue. We talked to the owner on the phone and he blamed the booking website for the mix up. He told us we had to take it up with them even though it was the actual hotel that had charged us. We talked to other guests and they told us that this hotel often double-books people and people are often left stranded with no place to stay. This is a very shady business. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! ##### Jessica Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2024 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Verified traveller Jul 15, 2024 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### WORST experience ever I booked a stay online and was contacted by the hotel saying i needed to stay for 4 days to to the country thunder festival. he double booked his room & tried to first blame staff for taking my money. then the previous owner for booking rooms prior to him taking over the company. he asked me to be patient so he could try and make this right and find a room for my family. at this point i had asked for a refund and was very upset but thought i would give him the benefit of the doubt. he said he had a rental basement suite for me to stay in with 2 rooms and a separate entrance. when i arrive i found a falling apart home, black mold, no flooring, ceiling falling out, wooden covered windows and mattress on the floor vehicles with out doors on the property i could go on and on. He also mentioned that he would be having other ppl staying in this property with me. I didnt feel safe with my family. the owner agreed to give me full refund but now is refusing and trying to blame his wrong doing on everyone but himself saying that i am not willing to wait for expedia to pay him less their commissions but never did he speak those words to me. would never recommend this location to anyone.
