Lovely old pub off the main road. Staff are helpful, they serve a good pint and the breakfast was first rate. Negative points - the mattress on the king-size bed is too soft and no brewed coffee in the morning. I would stay there again.

We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room and ensuite were clean and contained everything required (tea, coffee, toiletries, towels). The lounge bar area was pleasant and had a friendly feel. The property is aging, but suitably priced.

The twin room i booked was clean and presentable and fitted our needs perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was a menu to choose from so you choose your own variation of breakfast. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite, overall, even though we only stayed one night, as we were attending a family wedding nearby, i would have no hesitation on staying here again.

If you want luxury go elsewhere BUT if you are happy with basic bed and board this was ok. It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights. The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking.

Staff were very welcoming, room was clean and well kept, with tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. They catered for my needs as a vegetarian - the food served in the pub is excellent and the Guinness is well kept! The staff fitted breakfast requirements around my need to catch particular trains. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was a one night Bed and Evening meal. We were unable to stay for breakfast {included in the accommodation price) as we needed to be away even earlier then the rasonable start time of 8 a.m. The Evening Meal menu was slightly restricted in range, but none the worse for that! Staff were pleasant and heipful. The Stokesay Inn is a large old building. No doubts about the cleanliness. Although the decor is a bit 'tired', the large airy bar / restaurant area has a strange quirky attractiveness!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, location is really good near the visitor centre. Sunday lunch was very enjoyable, out in the beer garden. It is not the Ritz, obviously, but for the price I paid, totally fine. Excellent shower and great to find a single room available. Unfortunately the mattress was not good.

The staff here are very welcoming & extremely friendly though cleaning could be improved, we had a lovely sleepover & would definitely stay again, as Craven Arms is a really beautiful area with friendly people & great amenities.

The staff were friendly and the hotel is next to a wonderful walk on common land with an orchard. The cooked breakfast was very good too and very big if required. My small dislike , but only minor , was breakfast was from 9am which is a bit later than I prefer, but worth waiting for !
