About this property

2 Bed in Corwen (oc-88598)

  • This converted barn is set in an idyllic position with direct access to the Berwyn Mountains. It’s on a working farm in the small rural village of Llandrillo, halfway between Bala and Corwen, both offering eateries and shops. For local produce, visit the Farm shop in Corwen, and whilst your there, enjoy a bite to eat at the restaurant. Within 2 miles you will find a couple of eateries, one being a popular hotel/restaurant that is perfect for special occasions, and they serve a lovely Sunday roast. Bala boasts Wales’s largest natural lake to enjoy boating, a stroll around the lake, ride on the steam railway or a round of golf course. Visit Bala Adventure and Watersports Centre (10 miles), OnePlanet Adventure for mountain bike trails (18 miles), and Snowdonia National Park (around 10 miles). You could also visit the popular town of Llangollen, just 14 miles away.

This beautiful barn has thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Being on a working farm, local produce is available from the owners. The boot room has plenty of space for your outdoor attire and leads into the wonderful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. At the top is the fabulous kitchen, flooded with natural light and breathtaking views over the garden and valley. The dining table is in the perfect spot by the feature doors for everyone to gather around and enjoy a meal together; you can take in the fantastic views while you eat. Step down into the spacious lounge area, which has a comfortable sofa and Smart TV. Upstairs there are two fabulous bedrooms. The double has an en-suite shower room and the twin features bespoke 3’ single beds and has its own en-suite shower room. Both have been designed for a good night’s sleep and have lovely views to wake up to.

Heading outside, there is an idyllic garden with superb views overlooking the lawn and down the valley. The paved patio with dining furniture is perfectly set to enjoy al fresco dining, using the charcoal Weber BBQ. After dinner, relax on the rattan sofa set, light the firepit, and enjoy panoramic sunsets or stargazing up at the dark skies. There is also a, newly installed, premium dual pump hot tub to use during your stay. A separate utility room is accessed from the garden. There is plenty of undercover space for bikes and paddleboards close to the property.
