The Space:

Whale with My Soul was made for the trips that take months to plan. Three-generation family vacations, milestone birthdays, reunion weeks — this house handles it all without anyone feeling squeezed. Nine bedrooms across multiple levels, a top-floor king suite with ocean views, a bunk room floor for the kids, and a lower-level setup that functions as a completely separate hangout space with its own living room, wet bar, and Keurig.



The outdoor space is where this house really earns its keep. The private pool and cabana bar, with its bar stools, is the center of gravity for the group. Add a hot tub, a full sand volleyball court, a basketball hoop, a propane grill, and a roof deck with unobstructed ocean views, and there's genuinely no reason to leave. Beach chairs, a wagon, and beach toys are stocked in the closet — no need to bring your own.



The beach is a 3-minute walk via Albacore access. Perfectly located between the beach and a grocery store, with restaurants, shops, and family-friendly attractions a short drive away. Whalehead Brewery and Big Bucks Ice Cream are just a short walk!



And yes — Whale with My Soul is now pet-friendly. Up to 2 dogs welcome, $250 per pet, per week fee

★ Dogs Welcome — The property is pet-friendly for up to two (2) dogs. While most booking platforms automatically include the pet fee at the time of booking, any missing fees will be invoiced separately. The pet fee is $250 per pet, per week. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing any pets so we can update your reservation accordingly.

With our Smart Lock system, access to this home is hassle-free. You’ll receive a unique code to unlock the door on check-in day.

Rental Agreement

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



Guest Verification with Truvi

To protect our homes and enhance your peace of mind, Sojourn partners with Truvi, a third-party guest verification platform. You’ll receive a direct message from Truvi to complete your verification. Please complete this step before check-in. Visit Truvi’s website to learn more.



Trust & Safety Fee

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



Property Access & Maintenance

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.
