Bring your binoculars to watch hawks, osprey, buzzards, and eagles soar by at deck level! The many windows offer breathtaking panoramic views from the Currituck Sound to the Atlantic Ocean and the sunrise and sunsets will forever be in your memories. At dusk, enjoy relaxing in a deck chair for a night of cosmic sightseeing of planets, shooting stars and constellations on the expansive decking. This spectacular vacation home features plenty of room for family and friends to gather in the great room. The gourmet kitchen features 2 ovens, a GE flat top stove in the island, microwave, 3 sinks and 2 dishwashers that the chef in the family will love. This spacious home offers over-sized bedrooms including two large king size master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom containing a walk-in shower and jetted tub and an additional king size bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. The large 2nd floor tower bedroom has a queen size bed with its own private bathroom. The 5th bedroom has two pyramid bunk beds with trundle beds underneath for plenty of young children or grandchildren. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with smart TVs and wireless access throughout the house. No need to worry about carrying everything up the stairs or to the basement rec room, use the in-home elevator for that convenience. The large lower level rec room has a custom Connelly billiard table, microwave, a wet bar with wine cooler and a mini refrigerator with freezer compartment, along with an additional full-sized fridge for storing extra groceries. There is ample seating for everyone to enjoy fun family game time, complete with a sleep sofa and a full bathroom. Take a dip in your own private pool with 2 outdoor showers or relax in the hot tub which are both accessible from the rec room. Practice putting while relaxing on the TCooled artificial grass around the new pool - putters are provided. There's plenty of parking in the driveway and the garage is available for guest use. The new owners have put a lot of TLC into refurbishing this house and have given it their Magic touch! The Currituck Club, which offers elegant accommodations and the safety and security of a gated community is one of the most popular vacation destination spots on the entire Outer Banks of North Carolina! The Club offers great golf, a fitness center, community pools, lighted tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts, bike paths and even trolley service (from Memorial Day through Labor Day) to take you to the beach and back. The location is perfectly situated to enjoy the quiet setting, yet very convenient to the many local restaurants, shopping and family-friendly activities nearby including historic Corova, where the famous Outer Banks wild horses still roam free, the Currituck Lighthouse, the Whalehead estate, and the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education for young and old alike to explore the history and vast diversity of North Carolina's wildlife. There are two full-service grocery stores open year around within a five-minute drive. For the golfers in the group, having a private putting green around the pool and this home's view of the 9th fairway, the reduced greens fees and priority tee times will surely be a plus at the Rees Jones designed golf course that is also an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary. Check in was easy. Kitchen was well equipped. The elevator was very helpful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was very nice! We were disappointed that the mattresses were not comfortable especially in the master on main floor. Very hard on the backs! The shared tub/shower on the 3rd floor did not drain well. The lock on the slider door on the bottom floor did not work. The overall cleanliness of the porches especially the front and lower back porch could have been better, too many spiders & webs, so we didn't get in the hot tub. The house overall was very nice, and the community is great! We would like to know that these few things are corrected before we would stay here again. ##### Pat R. The house was massive, and the listing was very accurate. The pool was amazing (we were advised however there was a slow leak by the pool guy- so we had to add a little water). The views of the sound and the ocean were breathtaking. We have stayed in this community in past years, and love the fact that it is a gated neighborhood. The only issue that we encountered was only a couple of the lounge chairs by the pool were of a thinner plastic material ( clearly they are replacing these with more sturdy wooden chairs). Just 2 of these chairs failed as we used them due to the fact that they were weathered.All in all, I would highly recommend this property and would re book in the future!!!! ##### Mark R. There was a lot of trash left underneath the bed and TV stands. Initial day, We noticed the toilet broken in the basement and the toilet seat cover broken upstairs. We called and emailed and were promised to have somebody there that day. Nobody showed up until the next day. We were going to use the grill on Friday however the propane tank was empty. I called left three messages and emailed three times but nobody ever came out to put a new propane tank. No one even answered our email or called us back. Very disappointed.
