Located in the premier gated community of the Currituck Club, this beautiful home with a private pool, hot tub, and several community pool options will have your family wanting to come back year after year. The top level of this home is spacious and airy with an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The ship's watch is a cozy space with a private balcony, a sleep sofa, and a wet bar with a mini-fridge. When you're ready to retire for the evening everyone can find the right spot with a king and queen en-suite and a queen room and a kids room with a pyramid bunk bed. Spend the day by the pool as you soak up that Carolina sun and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. Long days at the beach require a refreshing rinse in the outdoor shower and barbecues on the grill. Kick back, relax, and be Just Coasting in the OBX. No Smoking/Vaping. No Pets. The hot tub is Seasonal - Seasonal Hot Tubs are not available from January through mid-March. The fireplace is not operational. Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day. The Hammocks Community Pool will be open from May 25-October 13, 2024\. Dates and times may vary dependent on weather and pool management companies. All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement. Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Location is central to lots of things. House itself had plenty of space - rooms were spacious. Enough room for three cars. Small pool but was enough for our young teens to stay busy. Couple of bedspreads didn’t seem clean as we would have liked but otherwise towels and extra sheets came in separate bags. Lots of kitchen supplies available. Loft sofa bed was big but not very comfy. The loft did give the one extra bed we needed and my daughter slept fine on it. If you need darkness, bring a sleep mask cuz the bedrooms all let in a lot of light in the morning. But that was fine for us. Overall, a very nice house in a great gated community ##### Melissa F. Location and neighborhood is great! My only complaint is the house was dusty in many areas. I could write a message in the dust on the lower shelf of the coffee table if I wanted to. The shutters were also covered in dust. The kitchen garbage bags are so thin, flimsy and cheap. If you let it get more than half full then the bag rips open and the trash falls out. Also I was told that the trash pick up is Monday and Friday and that I should put it out Monday morning. Both cans were filled to over flowing. I had to wheel two heavy cans to the road when I only put in a small amount of trash. It was obviously never done on Friday morning before I arrived. ##### Nancy M. The house was exactly as the pictures show and was clean with clean sheets and towels wrapped in plastic. The property management company was great to work with. When we walked in the door Saturday at 4:45 pm we heard a smoke detector chirping and called the management company. They had someone there within an hour to change all the batteries in the smoke detectors. They were very responsive regarding any questions or concerns we had! We had cold cloudy weather all week and what saved it was being in the Club where you could play pickle ball, volleyball, tennis, and a decent workout room. Equipment for sports was provided by the club. Trolley Service - the club offered trolley service to the beach which is great...but on bad weather days they didn't operate and didn't get them running when the weather got a little nicer. We were the first week of the summer so maybe the kinks were just getting worked out. When it was running, they only ran a couple of them so the waits got beyond their 20 minute max. Coastal Carolina the leasing company was great with all communications. We had one issue during our stay that was next to our property and they made calls and got it taken care of. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean. Hot tub is nice when the weather is bad like we had. The kitchen has what anyone would need and all was in working order. This house was roomy enough for 8 friends/family members. The pool and hot tub area were awesome, and the kitchen/living room area comfortable and spacious. Be warned the living area is on the second floor, which means going up and down stairs to leave the house or enjoy the pool area (this was a minor inconvenience for one of our guests that had knee surgery recently).
