Property Registration Number Here are the responses we received from modifying our No Refund Policy for our 2020 Families to a 15% Cancelation Fee: Amie said, "Thank you Matthew! Although we are still sad to not have experienced the Cooperstown tournament and stay at your home, we will highly recommend it to others." -- Koralyn said, "Matthew, We are absolutely in agreement with this offer. It’s very similar to what I asked for originally, except I had mentioned a 10% cancellation. I find the 15% to still be a fair offer and we will gladly accept. We appreciate your efforts, truly. Thank you." -- Ashley said, "Matthew, We graciously accept the 15% cancellation fee. We appreciate all the work you have put into figuring out a solution that will benefit all parties. We are real estate investors as well, so we empathize with the difficulties you have faced during this time. Thanks again." -- A said, "Matthew, with an enthusiastic yes we would accept this modification. Some of our families hope to be in Cooperstown in 2021 and we hope to be there with our younger son in 2023 and have that white party we discussed with you. We wish you nothing but success and look forward to a resolution and enjoying Cooperstown very soon. All my best." -- Pat said,Pat said, "Matthew, My families and I think your newest proposal is a great idea. We accept 15% cancellation fee. You have been more than fair! We will highly recommend you and your property to others. Thanks!" -- Kara said, "Matthew, Through all of this, I tried my best to look at this from all sides and relayed those thoughts to everyone we booked with. You have done your best to be fair and we all appreciate it greatly! I hope that 2021 still happens for you and you are able to get back on track. Fingers crossed for a better 2021 than 2020..... for everyone! Thanks again! If we ever decide to make a trip to Cooperstown, I’ll Definitely give you a call!" -- A said, "Matthew, Our families want to be fair and, like you, would like to put this issue to rest as quickly as possible. Along those lines, we accept your offer." -- Tiffany said, "Matthew, Yes we’d love to get back money. I’d still love to rent one of your homes in 2023. Appreciate you doing what you’re doing." -- Shawn said, "Matthew, Thanks for the email and taking the time to work through all the logistics. Second time we have stayed at this property. Plenty of room and beds for all of us with a number of rooms for us to all congregate in. Quiet secluded area but only minutes to downtown Cooperstown.
Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent layout for our group of 12. Used the gas grill for lunch, the gas fire pit for evening conversation. Plenty of parking and well lit drive.
This rustic setting was a perfect base for three couples to enjoy autumn leaves, the quaint village of Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone privacy; the kitchen is well equipped for making meals; and the first floor bedroom and bath made this home accessible for my semi-ambulatory wife. Hosts were responsive to inquiries. Only wish the weather was a bit better, and the fish in the pond were easier to catch.
Dan was a wonderful host. We had an issue with one of the A/C units and he came out within the hour to check on it and even brought a replacement unit in case he couldn't fix the one that was there.
The house has 3 bathrooms and was perfect for 3 families to share; each bathroom has nearby bedrooms/space. The 3 twin bed room is great for older siblings as there is a "den" area in the room and gives them a separate space to hang out.
We really enjoyed our time in Cooperstown!
We had a small Christmas family get together at this beautiful farmhouse and it was perfect. It was warm and cozy. The property is so picturesque. Would very much recommend and look forward to visiting again.
We were in this area for an all-Ripken baseball tournament. We didnt realize this property was about a half hour ride from the ball field near Oneonta. The ride wasn’t bad and the house was perfect for us, located out in the country. Would highly recommend! Very close to everything in Cooperstown.
We loved our stay at Cornish Hill. We had 4 baseball families join us during our sons Cooperstown Tournament and staying at this house was the cherry on-top of our experience. Highly recommended!!
Spent a weekend exploring the area with family for my son’s 7th birthday. Lovely home and property- the kids had a blast fishing and running around the property! The homeowners couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. Appreciated the well stocked home! Super close to Cooperstown village too!
The property was all that we were expecting and more! Dan and Matthew were both terrific to work with throughout the entire process. We also very much appreciated all of the local recommendations for our time not spent at baseball. Overall a terrific experience and week in Cooperstown.
We were up to bury our Mother's Ashes nearby. The property more than accomodated the 9 of us. It was a beautiful property. Dan was quick to reply to questions! We would happily return!
Our group of 10 held our yearly fantasy baseball draft in conjunction with a hall of fame visit for a complete baseball weekend. We loved the property and the host Dan was extremely helpful. Wish we weren't digging ourselves out of 6 inches of snow on the morning we left, but you can't stop Mother Nature. Thank you Dan for a wonderful experience.
This property could not have been any better for our week at Cooperstown. Three families comfortably stayed in this house with ZERO complaints. The communication from the owners could not be better, even after we checked in we had access to them at all times, for any questions we had. I would recommend this property (or ANY that they have listed) without hesitation to families coming to the Cooperstown area. Close to the ballfields and close to town. Perfect. We will be back in a few years with our younger son and will definitely book again!
House was clean and well maintained with a historic feel. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable heat, and very helpful owners. Very close to downtown Cooperstown. We visited over New Year’s weekend and the house had perfect little bits of holiday decor which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor downside was a little bit of a muddy driveway, due to gravel being a little worn and getting a lot of rain the first couple days of our stay. We would definitely stay again and recommend for families. Was also easy for my elderly mother to get in and out of house with one small step to get in and out and a perfect bedroom and bath on the first floor for her.
Our group had a great time at 493 Cornish Hill Way. The house met all our expectations. Very clean and provided necessity items which was super helpful that we didn’t have to run to a market before arriving. The property manager Dan was great with communication. 33 minutes away from Oneonta; All -Star Village. When we booked we thought boys were playing in Cooperstown which is only 6 minutes from house. Lovely-cute town. All baseball.
Overall a great stay. Good location. Owner/manager was quick to get back to us and very communicative. A couple negatives, There is no soap in any of the showers which was annoying. Also no shampoo/conditioner. I brought shampoo but no one else did. No one brought soap or body wash expecting tit to be there.
The kitchen is stocked well but no oils to cook with which I realize is not required but in other houses we’ve stayed in always there. Also there was no dish soap which should be required.
The house is large and can accommodate a large party which is great.
3 separate families were able to enjoy this home while our son played at Cooperstown Dreams Park. It is a scenic property with a pond to fish and a ping pong table and cornhole. We had access to the washer and dryer. We wished we would have had more time to enjoy the outdoor gas firepit.
Plenty of space indoors for people to sit or gather. The age of the home added some charm as well. We enjoyed the history in the house with the books and photos.
There are some squeaks in the floor boards, beds and doors due to the history of the home.
Lots of storage space, closets in the bedrooms. Comes with towels, paper towels, toilet paper, pans, dish soap, dish washer soap, so we were happy we didn't have to purchase all of those things.
Easy commute to Cooperstown Dreams Park, the Hall of Fame, Downtown cooperstown and restaurants.
The owner had quick communication and we loved his list of suggestions on things to do or places to go
We saw deer, birds, frogs, chipmunks around the property and fish in the pond.
We enjoyed picking some wild raspberries and blackberries around the property.
Thank you for helping make our week enjoyable!
