Very convenient location. It was perfect for me as I simply needed a place to sleep and shower as I was visiting family. You can hear street traffic but that is to be expected as it’s an old building. Having someone above you is EXTREMELY loud. The pullout bed mattress is very thin. The stove was not leveled after installed. There were not enough towels left for our group. Unfortunately we did not know that the downtown area hosts a Halloween weekend. Great for the local families but for us it was very noisy and we could get a single reservation for dinner anywhere. Nothing to do with the place just be careful if you expect to have a quiet place in the downtown area. The supplies left for the guests were very useful and appreciated. Very close to lots of shopping and dining. The parking was 2 hours in front of the loft or you could park for free down the street. It was just a weekend trip but you could clearly tell it had not been cleaned as there were dirty towels in the hallway, broken up potato chips on the stairs, and the bed was not comfortable at all. The amenities in the room were a thoughtful touch but they looked as though they had been rifled through. The bedding wasn't done correctly with a bare blanket (no duvet cover and no sheet on one side) which was kind of gross. I would have liked to know ahead of time that there was no elevator as we were on the 3rd floor. Though that may have been on the description somewhere that I didn't see to be fair. There wasn’t enough insulation Please soften the sound with rugs and include sound machines. Also the lighting could be softer not bright leds above. The location was good for dining and parking was plentiful. At first I was skeptical about the security of the street side door to the sidewalk but nothing happened. Blackout curtains would be an option. And adding a rug or two would make it more comfortable.
