The layout of the casino’s hotel rooms for a first timer was very difficult to understand despite diagrams and verbal directions. Later became easy. One person, a custodian, gave me bad directions but the manager and the other custodian were great. There was no problem finding the gambling area.

The room was very nice upon arrival, & overall, our stay was pleasant. However, I have a few concerns. When booking, there was no notice that the parking lot was under construction or that a large event would be taking place. We rented a vehicle expecting parking to be available, but were told to park near the road “wherever we could find a spot.” Due to the event & heavy traffic, it took nearly 30 minutes to reach the hotel entrance, followed by another 30-minute wait to check in after 9pm. The elevators were also difficult to use due to the large number of guests & were often full. My major concern was housekeeping. 08/09, I spilled coffee on the sheets & called around 10 a.m. to request service. No one came until 7:30 pm while I was in the shower. I called the next day, but no one came for 7 hours, by which time my husband & I were sleeping. On my 3rd attempt, I went to the front desk & explained that we would be out until after 2pm. Upon return, the sheets still had not been changed. Instead, sheets were left for us to change ourselves. A few hours later, housekeeping brought a second set of sheets so we could change them ourselves. I understand the property is understaffed.I ended up changing the sheets myself because I did not want to continue sleeping on coffee-smelling sheets.Better communication about construction, parking, events, & more timely housekeeping would improve the guest experience. We dont feel that the fee for housekeeping or resort fee is justified.

2nd time staying here. Would stay again.
