The location is ideal with walking access to central Truckee as well as walking trails along the Truckee River. The cabin is very well stocked and the bedding is very comfortable and our dog was very welcomed. Mitch was proactive in communication of pertinent details of the stay and very responsive when I reached out to hi with information and questions. We brought our dog and there are dog trails all around this property and it’s very close to town. There’s a bridge nearby to cross the River and you are close to some of the best cinnamon rolls ever at Cornerstone Bakery. Though get there early they go fast. Even though there are lots of restaurants across the river we decided to BBQ and make our own meals at the cabin - everything required is there except the food. Took lots of walks along the river with our pup and just felt really comfortable and relaxed at the cabin. It's perfect for a couple with a pooch or 4 total. The owner was responsive and in early May we pretty much had the street to ourselves and it was 75deg. Wonderful location with walking distance to the shops and little restaurants/ coffee shops. Bed is super comfy. Very close to palisade so perfect for our ski weekend. We had such a lovely time.
