A stunning property with spectacular scenery. The hamlet next to the villa had two superb restaurants within walking distance. Comares (the most beautiful village in Andalucia) was a short drive or a long pleasant walk away and had a large selection of very good bars and restaurants, plus some friendly local shops. With huge scope for visiting other tremendous locations in the area (e.g.El Chorro and Granada) not to forget the Mediterranean just 30 minutes drive away, we can thoroughly recommend this property.

Stunning location, excellent service
We really enjoyed our stay in this spectacular mountain location. The villa itself is nice (e.g. good beds) but nothing special but that's not really the point. The location is amazing with a really nice pool. The service from the owning company was also excellent. They sent lots of really helpful information in advance of our stay, we were greeted on arrival by Isabelle who was very welcoming and provided lots more helpful and interesting information. They were also very responsive when we did have a problem with the villa during our stay. They gave the general impression that they wanted to help us out as much as possible not, like some companies, that we were an inconvenience to them. Very impressed. If i were being hypercritical, some evenings, there was a bit of noise from the bar in the little village at the end of the valley. Nothing really significant just not quite as peaceful as we'd hoped on a couple of evenings.

Perfect relaxing break!
We stayed at the villa with another family with varied children's ages. We all absolutely loved our stay! The town of comares is a short drive away, and Los ventorros has two lovely bar/restraunts too. Everybody we met was incredibly friendly. The views in the area are out of this world too. The villa itself is spacious, clean and well equipped. The only thing we were missing was a pair of scissors, which didn't affect our stay. We were absolutely flabbergasted with Jose's fantastic help during our stay. The dishwasher broke unfortunately, but within 15 minutes, somebody was at the villa to take a look and within 30 minutes a brand new dishwasher was being installed. We couldn't believe the service! We fell in love with the villa and comares and we will definitely be back!!

As advertised, great place to stay
Everything was as advertised, check in was smooth and well planned. Pool was great and we had the heating on so used it a lot. The BBQ outside that’s built in was fantastic and we used it every day. We had a few issues with the hot water but they were resolved very quickly. Good little 5 min walk to the pub down the road. All in all a good stay.

Amazing views
Hola! House was big and clean, pool as well but we would advise to order heating as eventhough it was end of August the water was a bit cold. There are amazing and unbeatable views from the villa- best we ever had from any other villa we had ever booked. Road leading to the house might seem a little tricky as lots of turns and very high up but as you drive it everyday you get use to it and admire the views. The host was very helpful and whenever we needed him he was there. Delicious food in local restaurant just down the hill around 5min walk from the house. Closest beach was around 40-45min drive. Very peacful and remote location- all you needed when wanting to rest. We would recommend to everyone and definetelly would visit again! Thank you! Muchas gracias!!!

Perfect villa with perfect views
A lovely villa with spectacular views - away from it all no hustle or bustle- perfect place to recharge your batteries. Be prepared for your first few journeys up and down the mountain to be a bit hair raising but definitely worth it for the location. Comares lovely village to wander round with yet more spectacular views- local bar 5 min walk from villa for meals out . Stock up on bbq food and drinks as the villa is perfect for relaxing evenings chilling by the pool. Rental process was very smooth all extra questions answered quickly- best directions from airport to villa we have ever been given - over all a fab holiday for the 11 of us

Great villa in a fabulous location
We had a wonderful stay in this large villa with fabulous outside space and spectacular views. Although the house itself is not luxurious, it is perfectly comfortable, and as we lived outside for the whole week anyway, a smarter finish would have been wasted on us! The outside areas as you can see from the photos are fantastic, the pool itself was sparking clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and chill. Integral to our fantastic experience was, of course, the bar/restaurant 5 minutes away, which was a home from home for the week! We had hoped we would be able to walk into Comares, but as the walk was along a steep main road we didn't try - but this didn't matter in the end as the local bar was so great. We got a taxi in one day, and this was super-easy and cheap. The supermarket in Comares has pretty much everything you could need. Our baby grand-daughter became ill towards the end of our stay and the service at the nearby medical centre was superb - so much better than our local doctors! (She was fine in the end). All in all, one of the best villas our largish group of 10 spanning 3 generations has stayed in!

Wouldn’t change a thing!
We have just arrived back from a weeks stay at the lovely villa Jose 1. It was perfect. It had everything we needed. BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine etc. The villa is in a beautiful location with a short 5 minute walk down to a little bar/restaurant at the bottom of the village. There is a supermarket at the top of the village however we always got a taxi there rather than walking. The villa has WiFi which was great for our teenage guest! We paid extra to have the pool heated and it was lovely - like getting into a bath! All our guests had a great time and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this villa again. Thank you so much for letting us stay! X
