A little deep cleaning would go a long ways. The building it self needs some safety measures, I didn’t need to use my card to get in the building because the outside doors were all unlocked. The pool area was dark and has a huge hole in the window and again you can walk in without your card from the outside. The check in was fine but you walked past a group of people to get in to find an empty desk, called and someone from that outside group smoking came in. Needed something and was able to hit up walmart and back in about 10 minutes. The pillows were like sleeping on bags of wet cement. There were strange stains on the carpet close to the window. The heat and air conditioning register banged off and on all night. The room was clean but very dated, what you'd expect for the price. The room was very quiet, which is awesome. The amenities are sparse, but you aren't at the Four Seasons, nor are you paying for it. The pool was not in service when we stayed, the TV was small, but I felt safe and slept well. In other words, you get what you are paying for. If you are coming to the Mexico Missouri area to do things, this is a great stay. Staff seemed nice. Parking lot was play a game of dodge the pothole.
