We had a wonderful stay at A Desert Rose! Even though it is an older property, they have thought of everything and that makes your stay there very welcoming and comfortable. We stayed in the room with a separate bedroom and everything was clean and well organized.
We will definitely stay here again next time we pass through Cody.
A nice “mom & pop” that is hard to find anymore. Park right in front of your room. It is not fancy, but clean. Very convenient to walk to the shopping along Sheridan or even the mile to The Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Brenda, the owner, is a delight.
This was a very quaint property. The location is perfect you can walk to everything in Cody! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean offering helpful amenities. Would stay again😁
very reasonably priced after our expensive stay in jackson wyoming. laundry room on the premises, yes it’s a little old and outdated, but it was clean and affordable.
We are on a road trip and have traveled through 5 different states so far, staying in many different places. A Western Rose has by far been our favorite and best stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything you could need. They have assigned parking spots per your room # which makes it simple to navigate and a parking spot guaranteed. If we ever find ourselves back in Cody, we will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Old fashioned motel experience, but perfect for the Cody vibe. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town, although it was too hot to walk when we were there. Would definitely go back, extremely good value.
I was at the Western Rose for two nights. It was a perfect motel for my needs. I was out all day and needed a clean place for the night only. I couldn’t see paying a high priced motel when all I needed was the bed, shower and bathroom. The Western Rose was quiet, clean and convenient. The only perk it didn’t have was a microwave in the room but there was on in the laundry room if anyone needed it, which I didn’t. I would stay there again.
This motel was clean n comfortable n a reasonable price compared to others. We were exploring 13 hrs a day n just needed a place that was clean, safe , friendly n reasonable n that’s what we got. The bonus was walking into town was only a block away which is great that we didn’t have to move vehicle
I was looking for a motel that was affordable and this one was just right. It was clean, close and easy to find. Like most of the affordable motels, it didn't provide a breakfast, just coffee in the room. I was pleased with my choice.
My husband and I stayed a week at the Western Rose. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in Cody from there. The owner, Brenda, went over and above to make sure we had all the information we needed for a wonderful visit. In addition, we were on a motorcycle and she provided everything we needed to clean the bike after a 2000 mile journey. The laundry was great and the rooms clean. This is where we will stay when we return to Cody on the future.
Everything was perfect for our getaway. Staff & owners were friendly & helpful. Rooms were extremely clean with great water pressure in the shower 😉 Hard to come by these days. Location was perfect distance from Yellowstone and very close to downtown life. Would definitely stay again if we stayed in Cody.
Obviously an older property. Exterior is tired, but neat and clean. Room is small, but everything needed was there. The bidet was an unexpected but "nice touch." Parking lot is "tight", but I didn't have any trouble with my minivan and parked next to a full size pickup. I slept very well as a bonus.
