We're pleased to be able to offer 'High Tide' as one of our most popular vacation rental selections! The true epitome of a beach house, you'll enjoy the bright, cheery decor and spacious feel of this fabulous home. The downstairs features an open living room (with fireplace and flat-screen TV), dining area and kitchen, as well as over-sized windows and access to the two (yes, TWO!) screened porches. One porch features a wonderful dining set; perfect for dining al fresco. The second spacious porch features a large hammock and nice sectional lounging sofa. As if that's not enough outdoor space, there are also multi-level, open air decks on the front and back of the home! There's also a bedroom (king) and full bathroom downstairs. The upstairs features two additional bedrooms (one with a queen & two twin beds, and the other with a queen & one twin bed), and a full bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms are enhanced by sliding doors and private balconies. You'll enjoy snippet water views of the Assateague Channel! Don't delay, 'High Tide' books quickly. Please note: As part of the Piney Island Community, this rental includes water access at a shared community location just a short distance from the home. ​​​​​​​- Linens and towels are included with your reservation. \- No smoking is permitted on the premises. \- No pets are permitted on the premises. \- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. Ground floor bedroom lovely. Great to have kids in two upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen very nice. Having lots of screened in decks gave us room to spread out. We loved using the kayaks and beach chairs supplied. AC was great. Fans were nice. Scenery was beautiful. And Chincoteague was amazing. Just be prepared for excessive mosquitoes in June. ##### lindsay J. The 9 of us enjoyed the stay despite the big issue of the upstairs a/c unit not working. Fortunately, we had cool weather with a nice breeze. Pros: Nice kitchen with several useful appliances, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils; comfortable couches; great screened porches, 1 with a nice table, 1 with additional seating & a hammock; great location - walking or biking distance to eateries and shops; lots of communication from the property manager prior to the trip and easy to contact with issues (responded quickly to the upstairs a/c unit not working though the technician couldn't fix it during our stay). Cons: with the exception of the 1st floor bedroom, all mattresses have seen better days; some windows were hard to open/close; 1 of the screened porch doors was tough to open; a little TLC for the overall house is needed. ##### roberto p.
