We had a lovely stay here. The rooms were comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet. We were visiting a friend so it was the perfect location. We parked on someone’s drive with using just park( 7 mins walk away)as we knew the car parks were expensive. Pub was nice and the breakfast was great. Very busy pub with wall-to-wall football screens and general bar drinkers hubbub. Avoid Goodwood room - very small, extremely noisy road outside, especially as window didn’t close properly, no wardrobe for hanging, only coat hooks & only just enough room for two single beds pushed together. Well used bathroom but good shower despite flooding the floor due to poorly designed shower screen. Cracked sink, toilet roll is behind the toilet, black mould. And yet, for the same price, Amberley room was spacious, quiet, modern, fully furnished with a better designed, bigger and updated bathroom.
