Nice clean room, decent breakfast, good little onsen, and conveniently located near the Chiba Station. Friendly staff held my luggage after checkout for a bit. Very nice place to stay and an excellent price proposition as well.
Discovered this hotel/chain purely by chance due to a Qantas delay. It has to be the best, value hotel we’ve ever discovered. Has everything high end hotels have on a smaller scale and much lower cost. Staff were fantastic, amenities available or provided extensive, immaculate condition, smaller but adequate rooms for a few days.
Taught us what a Japan has to offer in non western branded hotels.
Although the rooms were on the smaller side, but it is great value for money. The staff members are very accommodating, helped us with all of our request in the four-night stay. the lobby has amenities for guests to self serve and also a machine for drinks. The location is super convenient close to the train station as well as a lot of choices for restaurants.
Does bad spa they offer you a free was super awesome and amazing and we paid for a massage and it was great. Great restaurants around the hotel for the price
Nice business hotel and very economic. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Best part was the public bath, not onsen but very much like one. The main reason I stay here!
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice, 5 years apart, yet the property has maintained its condition so well as if it was grand opening. The room is bright and spacious compare to the local standard. The public bath is really a treasure. Buffet breakfast offers a wide range of varieties. I will definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
small Space, but functional. Friendly and helpful staff. Refreshment at the lobby is a pleasant surprise.
Very nice and clean hotel that is located next to the Chiba monorail train station. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Check-in and Check-out were easy and smooth. We were very happy with our room. The beds were a bit firm in our opinion but they are properly sized and very clean. Definitely recommend the Vessel Inn and we would choose it again next time we are in Chiba. Thank you!
This is seriously the most kid friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. They had kid sized jammies and slippers plus tons of toys, books, and coloring books for the kids to borrow during their stay. My only complaint is that the breakfast only includes certain foods during the weekend. It was hard to find food for my kids during the week.
Hotel is a good distance from Narita airport. We came in late due to mechanical issues with our plane. Stay was not planned and all close by hotels were full. We got some much needed rest here, room was clean, front desk was helpful. Taxi from airport to hotel was spendy. We took the train back to the airport. Express train was quicker and cheaper than a cab.
The staff was wonderful assisting us the morning we were supposed to depart. My wife ended up falling ill and the staff made it possible to move to a new room at a very low rate where she could stay until our departure time to Narita later in the afternoon. Those extra five hours of sleep really helped her get through the day and the long flight back to the US. Breakfast was good, room was quiet, but I will say the superior twins I would not recommend for more than one person per bed.
Convenient location, simple, but good breakfast, and kind staff. Keep in mind that there a lot of Japanese folks staying here too, so it’s worth minding local manners.
