Clean and comfortable room, polite staff and ideal location right in the centre of Chester. The nearest parking is only a 5-10 minute walk away and costs £8 for 24 hours. Unfortunately we didnt have chance to eat here as we only stayed 1 night and had other plans but the food being brought out to other guests did look great. Would definitely stay again!

Room was great. Very spacious with a super king bed and three windows overlooking the Christmas Market,which was amazing. Bit noisy with other guests coming in late and banging doors, also woken very early with draymen delivery of barrels of ale.

Our room was big lots of room , roon was very clean spotless, the staff are anazing friendly and helpful. The hotel.is in a perfect location next to town hall and Cathederal.

The hotel was nice, food in the restaurant was lovely and staff were absolutely lovely. Our room was clean and spacious. However, we were rudely awakened at 5.45am by the drayman who was making a delivery to the cellar. Barrels were thrown and rolled down the dray delivery hatch for well over an hour finally stopping around 7.00am. Not impressed :-(

Really nice hotel, I didn't use the pub or restaurant part, but the hotel was brilliant, can be a bit loud with the live singing etc in the centre which isn't far from the property, but I did know this would be the case, no issues at all, would recommend for sure.

Expedia may want to review the review of this property. It boasts a wonderful and 9.2 rating and the place is in serious disrepair. Dirty room, dirty, moldy bathroom and a TV remote caked with sticky dirt and grime. I think someone may be creating false reviews for this property.

Was in Chester for a stop over for the night. Although the pub was nice and food good. I thought the upper halls and room could have been a bit cleaner. Stair carpets cleaned and dust on the paintings cleaned. Mattress on the beds was one of the main things to let it down. Could do with changing. It was like sleeping on a pile of potatoes.

Had a lovely visit the staff are friendly chatty and offer excellent service, the bar is clean and again friendly helpful staff, the restaurant is gorgeous and offers great choice of food, the food snd service are excellent. The room was large lots of space clean and comfortable. Fabulous place to stay in heart of everything facing the Cathedral, short walk to Chester Wall, short walk to lots of shops and restaurants.
