Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Breakfast was added at check-in with my consent, but at no point was I informed that I would be charged regardless of whether I used it. At check-out, I was charged for a breakfast I did not consume. When I questioned this, the staff falsely insisted that I had used the breakfast, yet he was unable to provide any evidence when I asked for proof. He then offered to waive the charge, but that was not the point. I was not asking for a favour but objecting to being charged for something I never used. This kind of dishonest and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. The service level is inconsistent with the hotel’s otherwise high-quality facilities. JW Marriott in Chengdu down town location has been consistent in its quality, customer orientation and everything else. this is the only hotel I stay every time when I traveled to Chengdu.
