Families will enjoy the spacious deck and waterfront lot. Boaters will enjoy the private 70' dock and immediate access to the 40-mile inland waterway. Mackinaw City is a short 20 minute drive from the cottage (or venture to Mackinac Island via boat through the Cheboygan lock!) Downtown Cheboygan is less than 5 miles from the cottage. During the Winter months, we welcome families, snowmobilers and ice-fishermen alike. I never had to reach out to the owner but she did send me a message about a week prior to the vacation which my family enjoyed. We had 11 people in our group including five under five and the large yard and river were great entertainment for them. We tried to fish a little but it seems like all the fish have been caught in the river but no big deal. The river was quite weedy which was frustrating but obviously not the owners fault. The place was really clean and cared for. We would come back and I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you have a boat. Only about 30 minutes to Mackinaw which was nice and really close to downtown Cheboygan. ##### David C.
