The cottage features king size bed, ensuite bath, fully stocked kitchen, living/workspace with comfortable sleeper sofa, mature landscaping for privacy, and covered front porch. Hometract is a quiet 3-acre property with terraced garden views. Visit our chicken coop, relax in the hammock, or walk to the garden shop or Duner's restaurant. Hometract is located in historic Ivy, a rural area characterized by mature forests and rolling hills. We have the privacy of a rural area with few neighbors but also easy access to I-64 & Rt. 250 putting Crozet, Ivy, Charlottesville, Monticello, Keswick, and more all within easy reach. We are walkable to the Ivy Corner Garden and Gift Shop, local favorite Duner's Restaurant, and the Wine & Country gift shop. Boars Head Resort is only 5 minutes down the road with its golf course, restaurants, spa, and music and events. The Foxfield Races are only 10 minutes away. Road cyclists can enjoy the popular Dick Woods Taylor Gap route passing right past Hometract's entrance. On a National historical site registry property, the nostalgic centuries old wood fragrance, combined with modern amenities, and an extremely comfortable king bed. The Chicken Coup and the chickens are a wonderful addition to an already cool place. We loved to hear and watch the trains coming by the house. Juli was the best hostess. She was the best. She helped to answer our questions about the area. She also made time for my kids to meet and give the chickens special treats. She was so patient and kind with my kids . Cottage was well equipped with anything you would need during your stay, especially loved the coffee. Great location, short drive to many attractions, restaurants, and wineries. It was a short drive to UVA campus. The beautiful living room and cozy kitchen enabled us to relax and visit in a comfortable environment.
