The house is traditional brick dating to 1905 and lovingly restored and furnished with local antiques. Walk to Charlottesville's historic downtown Mall as well as downtown Belmont, and The University of Virginia. The neighborhood is a little transitional but felt safe. A friend and I enjoyed this wonderful rental for a weekend and had a great time. The location is close enough to everything to be really convenient, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The lack of TV was not an issue as we brought an iPad to watch movies. This is definitely a place I would rent again when I go back to Charlottesville. ##### Laura M.
