Policies and Fines: Quiet Hours: Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. No parties or unregistered guests allowed. Disruptions to neighbors will result in a $400 fine and immediate termination of the stay without refund. No Pets: Pets are not allowed. Unauthorized animals will result in a $350 fine. Service animals must be disclosed in advance, and guests are responsible for waste removal and any damage. Excessive cleaning due to pets may incur up to a $300 fee. No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Indoor smoking or evidence of it will result in a $500 fine. Parking: Up to five cars may park in the driveway or on the street. Do not drive or park on the lawn; violations result in a $300 fine. Internet Use: Illegal downloading or streaming of copyrighted material is prohibited and will result in a $500 fine per occurrence. On paper, it had what we needed (kind of), though it was equipped with the bare minimum. Though it had a kitchen, there were no utensils to cook with. They had supplied coffee pods, but they were all decaf (maybe this is whiny, but it is a hassle to find coffee first thing in the morning when you are in a time crunch). There were no extra blankets, and those provided were super thin. Finally, when we arrived, the shower curtain and rod were sitting in one of the bedrooms. We had to put it back, and it fell off twice. It seems the assembly was in the bedroom because it was broken. I would not choose to rebook this space based on this experience. ##### Christopher V. Nice and cold AC and a window unit in one bedroom allows you to keep one room cooler if you want.Owner was super responsive and proactive (there was a lot of utility work being done, so she forwarded messages about when the internet would be down - seems like they finished it all now).Easy parking in driveway and street. The street has lots of street lights and a big construction going on next door for some nice condos and we felt safe here, but certainly lock your cars! This part of Charlotte is still rough especially on the main streets. Would highly recommend the food truck at the gas station on the main street (Tyrol) near the house.
