We are about a 30 minute drive from Gold Bug Hot Springs. We are in walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and the library. It was very clean and well kept. We had to locate the water heater to turn that on during our stay. I also want to make it known to other future guests that this is not as friendly of a pet home as it would seem with the description. They request that pets stay off of all furniture. While I respect their decision for this, I will admit it would be better to know that rule before hand in the event you don't have the proper items to adhere to that rule. No check in details were provided before the stay and I was unable to reach the owner at either phone number or through the messaging service on the app. We had to sit and ring the Ring doorbell constantly in order to get the code to get into the house. It took 3 hours to get into the house due to lack of response from the owner which should never happen. Even Vrbo customer service was unable to get ahold of him. So anyone planning on staying here in the future should attempt to obtain check in details prior to the day of arrival to avoid this happening to them. The host said the check in info is online but on the VRBO app and online and in the email I received it said the host has not provided check in details. Maybe he has on other sites but that’s not what I used. Other than that the house was fine, no concerns with the property, just the lack of owner response. ##### Sarah L.
