Good location, lots of restaurants and parks in the area and down the road from the blue line MRT. We got the premier room and it was massive for an excellent nightly rate. Hotel staff was very helpful, pool is nice and there's 3-4 lounging areas for sun or shade worshippers. Our reservation came with the breakfast buffet which was a steal of a deal. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Silom.

The location is great, near Chinatown, a temple, the train, and several 711s. The staff was nice. The breakfast was very good and varied. I did not try the pool or gym, but they seemed decent. Quality of service at the spa is inconsistent. Cannot recommend the room service - I ordered green curry. It was just chicken that had been dipped in curry, while good - no rice or sauce. Very little by way of toiletries. The trips offered at concierge or not necessarily a better deal than those you’d find online. We couldn’t control the AC, other than to turn it on and off.

Newly opened Iconsiam centre - on the river bank - beyond excellent. Since it is unlikely - that you will go there to buy a new Maserati or Royce (still fun to look at those stores inside the mall) - go there for a food court. For the price of what you would pay at Khao San road (or less) to a street vendor - you will eat bigger portion and much better food, in 100 times more hygienic circumstances - from a infinitely more reliable vendor - than Khoa San road. Also - most vendors have free samples to try (so you know how it tastes - before you buy something). Me and my wife ate there several times - beyond excellent. Whole ground level of this shopping mall is basically one huge food court. Tone of local food - with sections selling food from different parts of Thailand. Totally worth paying 60 Baht to get here by Hop on Hop off boat from Khao San road - just to eat here (about 15 - 20 mins pleasant trip by boat from Khao San road pier).
