The 2 Ha (5 acres) private property with century-old olive trees, fruit trees, and local flora lies 5km from Ceglie Messapica, the gastronomic capital of Puglia with some of the best restaurants in the region. The location is peaceful, very private and only a 10-minute walk from Seppunisi farm where you can buy excellent burrata, local mozzarellas, cheeses and other fresh dairy products 7 days a week. The terrain is gently undulating with narrow, stone-wall country lanes winding through olive groves and gardens with picturesque houses & trulli, a beautiful area for early morning/evening walks. Highlight is the swimming pool area overlooking our olive grove and surrounding countryside. There is a spacious terrace with 6 comfortable sun beds, 4 deck chairs and umbrellas. Here you can soak up the sun or relax in the shaded gazebo on warm summer afternoons. There is a large, stone dining table with 6 chairs that can comfortably seat 8 overlooking the pool and courtyard in front of the trullo, an ideal spot for both day and night entertainment. Mandorleto was fully renovated in 2012 using traditional materials to create an authentic trullo experience with modern comforts! Small archways, hidden alcoves, and domed ceilings give a mystical ambiance that only a trullo can generate. All floors are made from ‘Trani’ marble, a honey coloured stone from local quarries. Windows have mosquito netting, traditional outer grills and shutters that can be left open at night to let in air. Walls up to 2m thick ensure that temperatures inside stay pleasantly cool during hot summer months. Mandorleto can comfortably sleep 6\. There are 3 bedrooms – 1 master bedroom with double-bed 2,10m x1,60m; 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each 1,90m x 0,80m. All bedrooms have air conditioners (installed October 2025) and low-noise standing ventilators. A baby cot and high-chair can be provided upon request. There are 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, bidet, toilet, and wash basin. The living room with 2 sofas, lounger and fireplace is located in the main trullo. The spacious kitchen is bright and fully equipped for gourmet cooking with a second large fridge to keep drinks cool. There is a dining table that comfortably seats 6, a small seating area next to a wood burner and double-doors leading to a spacious, shaded terrace with large stone table for outdoor dining. The BBQ area is next to the terrace, a laundry room with washer & dryer is behind the kitchen, there is free Wi-Fi with strong signal throughout the house and swimming pool area. We had been welcome by Anthony, who gave us many tips and suggestions of restaurants, attractions and things to do in the area.The trullo is very well equiped and lovely decorated. Our family enjoyed the garden, the pool and the terrace. During our stay it was very hot but unfortunately no air conditionner in the house, just fans in each bedrooms…It was still very hot and I would say that this is the only negative point.If you want to have the impression of being alone, cut off the world, this is the perfect spot! Outside shady area next to pool is good but needs an extra layer of bamboo do that you don’t get sunburnt through the shade. Lovely comfortable seating by the pool. Great location close to beautiful towns to visit - Martina Franca, Ostuni, Alberabello, Monopoli etc. Really good pizzeria in closest village but you need to book - lovely open air village square dining area.We loved the roof terraces with panoramic views.All in all a great holiday and lovely property - only improvement would have been aircon which would have been great when the temperature got to 43 degrees. Ein traumhafter Urlaub in ApulienWir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Apulien! Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum – hochwertig eingerichtet, geschmackvoll dekoriert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der herrliche Pool und der fantastische Blick – einfach alles hat gestimmt.Zugegeben, bei der Ankunft waren wir zunächst etwas überrascht von der sehr abgeschiedenen Lage. Doch schon am nächsten Tag hat sich dieses Gefühl vollkommen gewandelt. Die Ruhe, die Natur und die Umgebung haben uns schnell verzaubert, und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt.Auch der Empfang war äußerst freundlich, was den positiven Gesamteindruck noch unterstrichen hat. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön – wir haben viel entdeckt und erlebt, und dennoch blieb genug Zeit zum Entspannen.Wir würden jederzeit wieder unseren Urlaub hier verbringen. Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr gute Einführung und Betreuung durch Anthony. Sauber, gut gepflegt, Waschmaschine und Trockner funktionieren und Pool sehr sauber. A great location out in the country and 10 mins from the Ceglie Messapica. Plenty of space in the Villa for the 5 of us and the facilities are excellent. The pool area was excellent and there are several eating areas. We used the barbeque a couple of times and for the other 6 nights visited local towns to eat. The information booklet sent in advance was very useful and told us so much about the area, which places were best to visit and some of the best places to eat. Hayley and Anthony, who met us and showed us round the wonderful Trullo, were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The pool was enjoyed by everyone, especially the children. Our favourite restaurant was Vino fritti e Cucina in Ceglie, but we also enjoyed Pizzeria in Pescarosa, being fairly close to the Trullo. Our favourite place that we visited was Alberobello, and we loved the beaches on the Adriatic coast. It was a wonderful holiday with many happy memories for my brothers 40th birthday. A spacious kitchen and a nice sized pool. Situated about easy 10min drive from Ceglie Messapica town along a quite narrow but reasonably good road. The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. Lovely garden with various terraces and a swimmingpool with a marvellous view!
