It's surrounded by woods at the ridges of Appalachia. It is full of beautiful acreage, woods, and BREATHTAKING unrestricted lake views! You will love the view from this well-appointed, upscale unit with King Bed, Queen Sleeper sofa and twin beds in open loft area with ship's ladder. Fully equipped kitchen, chunky trim, luxury bathroom and private covered deck looking straight at the lake and mountains. Play corn hole, life size chess, board games, take a dip in the pool or year around hot tub, play in the sand area or on the playground, make some delicious food on the grill, play volleyball, foosball, Connect4, go kayaking in the beautiful Weiss Lake, cozy up by the fire pit and make s'mores, swim in the cleanest water on Weiss Lake, watch AMAZING sunsets! SO much to do on property! Also, so much to do off property in the area. Rent a boat or jet skis, hike, see the falls, do caving, rappelling or ziplines, all in close proximity. Close to Pirate's Bay (water park), DeSoto Falls, Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Orbitz Glassblowing, snow skiing, horseback riding, endless trails, rappelling, caving and ziplining. We are in the ABC triangle meaning we are an hour & a half from the Atlanta, Birmingham, & Chattanooga Airports. Of course we are a HUGE fishing lake so bring your boat or do a fishing excursion. Listed as two bedrooms because there are two sleeping areas but it is an open concept. The views are incredible. Breathtaking views of the lake and lawns and you can even see how the sunset pours colors into the house at "golden hour". We also have LOTS of stars, it just gets better & better! 1\. Luxurious sleeping quarters with hotel linens and towels. 2\. Smart/roku tv that has cable with TONS of stations. and access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. 3\. Corn hole, life size chess, board games, Connect4, sand area, grill, volleyball area, and a bunch of other things. 4\. Beautiful front porch to sit and watch the sunset! 5\. The property is absolutely beautiful with wonderful amenities! Everything in “The Stilts” was meticulous and labeled. There was even a hospitality box in case you forgot a toothbrush, floss, comb, etc. There were throw blankets we enjoyed while sipping our coffee on the private porch while gazing at the beautiful lake. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, the private fire pit, and a game of corn hole. Of course we ventured to the in ground trampoline to see if I still “had it”! I still did along with many more aches and pains the next day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went to the drive in located about 15 minutes away. Another night we enjoyed dinner on the lake. Sunday morning we had booked brunch at a winery about 40 minutes away. It was a great 28th Anniversary trip and our stay was the best place we had stayed in a while! The house is gorgeous, bright and super comfortable and comes with ALL the amenities you need ie: dishes, soap, cookware, towels (bath and beach!) etc and furthermore, every cabinet is labeled so you're not looking for anything. The house was exceptionally clean- it’s like stepping into an Elle Magazine article. The owners have put an incredible amount of attention to details of their guests. Truly, the hospitality was amazing; I felt appreciated, and welcomed as a guest. It was refreshing. They have labeled everything- so you don’t have to guess where things are.
