We rented a 2 bedroom deluxe cottage. It was exactly as advertised and included most basic necessities for cooking/dishes. Included towels and linens. We stayed here for Sommo fest and it was within a great walking distance to the festival. Property is directly across from market to buy any necessities/food/ice/firewood as needed.

We had an excellent stay in an executive cottage with two little kids. Pool was great. The location is super close to the Cavindish attractions, we walked to Sandspit. Would return to this cottage for sure.

This is a very lovely get-away place. The cottage is extremely clean than expected, there are many amenities that surrounds the location. It is a very good place to stay for couple of days or weeks, I will surely recommend. However, they forgot to include electric kettle in the room, which I think that may be considered as minor iss. Cheers

The entrance is very hard to find. You need to use the same road as shining waters. This place has a ton of rules that are presented in a very direct way. The cottages are old and dated but we had a good nights sleep.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Close to Cavendish beach and Anne of Green Gables sites. Far enough from Charlottetown that there was minimal traffic. Getting around was really easy with the rental. Loved having a full kitchen and grill. We used often. Picnic tables and fire pit were great for our large group of 15, having a number of the cottages. Each family having their own. Field and playground on site. Pool on site and water park next door that we didn’t use as we went to the beaches instead.

Avonlea was a Beautiful property with lots of potential. The property needs improvement. Great location, next door to Shining Waters and the Tourist Mart. The pool area was nice and the hot tub is a bonus. As for our cottage, in one of the beds my daughter found certain hairs that should not have been there. In the posting it claims that the properties are sound proof, this is not the case at all. We were in a Deluxe Cottage right by the street and it was loud. The two playgrounds and pool were far from the cottage. Not once were we even checked up on to see if we needed anything.

It was a nice cozy cabin just down the road from Ann of green gables. Lots of restaurants and attractions near by. Fire pits for the evening and bbq on each patio. They do have AC in the cabin which was great because it was a heat wave while we were on the island. Everything is very commutable . I very much enjoyed the island, beaches, cities and stay.

Went for a 3 day vacation. Disappointed that photos on Expedia were not accurate. Cottage we stayed in needs updating for price expected to pay. Lamp in bedroom was to me a fire hazard, shower very small and rough looking, no pans appropriate for oven use (had to purchase one) front burner on stove didn’t work, blankets all wool, no extra pillows or sheets, and sofa bed would not be sleepable (would fall through I am sure). Parking for one car only and very tight parking. Positives - Check in and out was great, Nice pool and hot tub and play area and a bonus to have lovely fire pits. Great location and can walk to most attractions!

This was a great property, very close to all amenities of Cavendish. Owner was very responsive on several email communications. Owner emailed me the day before to advise me of the check-in process which was very easy, and emailed me the day before departure to advise of check out procedures. Property is older but well maintained. Pool was nice, and not crowded. Pay ground was perfect for a two year old and filled with sand. Several options of play sets depending on the age, including a newer (less than 3years) Costco play set. Lots of fire pits to have your own campfire, or share with others.

We had an amazing stay with family. We used 2 cabins and both were very clean and well equipped. Loved the outdoor area. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Loved how close we were to everything. Highly recommend!
