St George's Cathedral

Unsafe to go there. Very dirty, sheets with stains on them, garbage on the floor, garbage everywhere. I didn't take the breakfast for safety reason. Such a place is a total disrespect for travelers

The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.

I did not stay there! I took one look at the place and left. I DID NOT STAY there. Expedia should be aware that people like me have some confidence that places are suggested by Expedia are based on some sort of examination. it was a sad commentary on the performance of Expedia, that they would put a place like that on their list of places of interest where one can stay. after travelling several hours at my age [80] to the presented with such a situation requiring me to look for somewhere else is ridiculous.
