The Pricing Quote given through our website or through VRBO does not included our cleaning fees CLEANING FEES: Meadows $225 + $11.93 tax = $236.93. Castleton Farms is a sprawling, 500-acre compound at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park with a working animal farm, fishing ponds, and gorgeous views. A five-mile paved footpath spans the property and is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. Visit the friendly menagerie with emus, goats, chickens, pig, donkeys, a zebra, and a zonkey. The magnificent Pool House complex boasts a custom, geothermally-heated indoor pool, and hot tub, (Additional fee — paid at check-in).

Castleton Farms is a one-of-a-kind estate with luxury amenities and rustic Virginia charm. In addition to the original 1850s Manor House, the property comprises thirteen beautiful guest houses, intimate cottages and large family homes, all discreetly nestled across 500 acres of rolling farmland. Escape from the everyday bustle to a serene haven of unspoiled, breathtaking mountain views. And with three tennis courts, and world-class performances at the 120-person theater.

Great Property!

Big house that worked great for a bunch of parents and their small kids for a winter weekend getaway. We loved renting the indoor pool house and going on walks on all the great trails, especially seeing the animals!

An absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful property. We felt like royalty at this beautiful home. It was spacious, well kept, and had great amenities. Plenty of room and everything you could need to bring friends and family together. We especially loved the picturesque property, and enjoyed the pool, the tennis courts, and visiting the farm animals. Connie and staff were very helpful and communicative about procedures

Beautiful getaway with family

Castleton is an absolute beautiful property that was enjoyed by us all. It was great to take a break from our busy lives and just enjoy each other. We stayed in the Meadows home, which was clean and it fit our large family. The property manager was wonderful to work with. We highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

Amazing House

Just stayed at this house for the second time and it was just perfect. The house is large and rambling, so after gathering round the patio or in one of the dining rooms, everyone also had a little privacy. The kitchen had all the right tools and multiple fridges and dishwashers made everything so easy. The pool is great, as are the views. Cannot say enough good things about the Meadows!

Beautiful Property!

I held a get together with friends for a weekend at Castleton Meadows and we absolutely loved it. The peoperty is well stocked in the kitchen, provided firewood and starters, and plenty of linens. Everyone in our group loved the home. It's centrally locates to a lot of local vineyards, breweries, and orchards so lots to do! We plan on coming back again.

A memorable weekend in Castleton

Our large group stated at the meadow house and rock cottage (very close proximity to one another) and had just such an enjoyable time. Anything we needed was available. Plenty of fun outdoor activities within half an hour, and a wknderful selection of restaurants. 10/10.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Our Retreat at the Meadows was absolutely wonderful!! The Meadows large enough for our party of 14, yet super cosy at the same time. The scenery, the grounds, the sereneness of the drive out to Castleton were all enjoyable! Beautiful Property

Wonderful stay for our multi generational family vacation on this beautiful expansive property (group of 22 - We also rented Mountain View guest house) The house is large. The kitchen is well equipped - Ample amount of refrigerators/freezers and two dishwashers is a plus! The pool is amazing and accommodated our large group with plenty of room. Would recommend renting a golf cart to enjoy this immense property. We enjoyed visiting Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, and wineries which our nearby.

Wonderful Relaxing week!

We had 16 family members of all ages on this trip and everyone had a great time! There were things to do for all ages on the property. The pool, of course was a big hit and the teens loved fishing/boating at the pond. The little ones really enjoyed seeing the animals and all of the kids loved having s’mores at the firepit in the evening. The house is big enough that you can spread out into your own space if you would like. We would definitely come back to this property!

We stayed at the Meadows property for my dads birthday celebration and the property was perfect to accommodate all of us! We were four families with kids of all ages! There was a ton of room for us, in the most beautiful setting! The home was well stocked with supplies. Some things in need of repair (door locks, etc) but nothing that brought down the quality of our stay. I would recommend for a good size group.

Amazing Family Get Away

We loved staying at Caselton! We will definitely be back. Loved the home and property. Lots to do for families. We went on long walks on the vast property and paths. Played tennis, basketball, ping pong, corn hole, lots of fun indoor and yard games. Used the hot tub. Built fires outside and in. The tennis court and pond were right out the front door. We feed and saw the many animals on property. The best were all super comfortable, which is key. Great space for families and larger groups. Connie and the team there was great. Highly recommended!
