Great property with an amazing view. Although it was a bit dated it suited our needs. Close to beach, restaurants and shops. Parking was convenient and we easily found a spot. Pools were a bit dated and in need of some TLC but that didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves.

Wonderful apartment, very comfortable and clean, well appointed with thoughtful touches. We felt right at home and loved the location although there are steep walks up from the town. Parking excellent and nice to have a pool nearby. Would definitely recommend and come back for another stay.

Excellent location for a family. Close to the town square where the restaurants and beach are. Swimming pools had enough chairs for multiple families (with umbrellas). Be prepared for a walk up a hill from town to the resort

Fantastic stay at Monte Dourado resort. Apartments were large, clean and comfortable and in a good location, albeit at the top of quite a steep hill! Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have a coffee on the terrace and watch the kids play in the pool. It was a short walk into town and very walkable to the beach. We would recommend to others and would come stay here again!

Beautiful spacious condo with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Has an amazing view of the sea from a great balcony. Close to restaurants, beach and shopping. Very hilly area. Would be nice to have a few more supplies like shampoo and some kitchen staples.

Our apartment was really spacious having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lounge area was lovely and had access to a small outside seating area on the pool side. The beach and resort centre is only a short walk down the hill. The small town was full of gorgeous restaurants to pick from and l recommend a visit to the sky bar for drinks first We would definitely like to holiday here again sometime in the future x

Visited in January 2025 which is the slow season for the Algarve. Quiet location in Carvoeiro with numerous shops and restaurants. During my stay there was maintenance being performed at the resort as well as various business in town. Property is clean and well maintained.

A good stay

The Resort is located very close to the town center and the beach. The area of the resort is beautiful the view from some of the apartments is magnificent. The pool areas were a bit dated but ok anyway. The apartment we had was convenient for us although the furniture was dated. But I think the apartments have different styles and decor so it depends on which apartment you get. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Monte Durado

Property was in a great location with fantastic views of the town and it to sea. Beds were comfy but the bathrooms very tired and in need of refurbishment. Still has original fittings from the 1990s.

Had an amazing week at Monte Dourado resort. Apartments are huge, very clean and well equipped. The pools and grounds are beautiful and well kept and the apartments are perfectly located, just minutes from the beautiful beach, many restaurants and shops. I have to give a mention to the wonderful staff, in particular Esmeralda and Silvia who helped make our stay perfect. Thank you. Highly recommend and we hope to be back xx

This property was absolutely amazing. Although our room did not advertise a Seaview, we still had a partial beautiful Seaview. We were right next to the pool area. Could get a little loud when there’s a lot of people there but nothing that bothered us. The property is well-maintained. The location is beyond convenient. You’re close to everything. Everything is walkable. Unit we stayed in was A37, and wow. This unit was huge two bedroom two bathrooms both with showers great kitchen, new washer I cannot ask for more. The local town was really cute with lots of eating and shopping options. Great access to all the local beaches and the seven hidden valleys Trail. Everything right at your fingertips.
