Wonderful staff but hotel is a little bit tired and is totally over priced for what it offers. Beds were unconformable and breakfast was poor. Very expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Costa Rica. Great views though.

A beautiful place with very friendly and accommodating staff! It also has a nice looking pool and hot tub that I couldn't check out due to the weather. The landscaping is magical and offers multiple hidden seating areas. The vi we w across the valley is simply spectacular. The noise of the nearby highway can be bothersome when the semis are trucking up or down the mountain, but it's easily quieted if you shut the windows. The only drawback to my stay was the cold shower I had to take on the morning of checkout. The water was definitely hot the other days...

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The views from the balcony off our room, the dining & lounge area were so lovely. The pool was clean & the paths were swept regularly. Clean towels daily. The breakfast food included was just ok. Dinner meals have to be ordered in, if you don't have a vehicle, as there is nothing within walking distance. But they deliver right to your room.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas die Tage gekommen. Es sollte dringend etwas verwehrt werden. Die Zimmer an sich waren sauber aber die Handtücher und Bettwäsche machte alles ein schmuddeligen ein. Die weiße Handtücher waren zum Beispiel deutlich angegraut. Das Frühstück war für Costa RicaVerhältnisse In Ordnung. Das Hotel direkt an einer Hauptstraße liegt, ist es abends teilweise recht laut

Unser Zimmer wies am Fensterbogen großflächig schwarzen Schimmel auf. Als wir den Rezeptionisten darauf hinwiesen, bot er uns einen Zimmertausch an. Im neuen Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick alles gut. Als wir im Dunkeln ins Bad gingen, war die Wand voller Ameisen. An der Rezeption fragten wir nach Insektenschutzmittel und kümmert uns selbst um die Schädlinge. Es wurden leider immer mehr, da sich im Bad anscheinend ein Nest befand. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen, aber schön ruhig. Die Aussicht ist auch toll. Die Anlage insgesamt ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist bemüht. Das Frühstück war sehr langweilig.

wunderschönes wenn auch nicht großes Gelände. Alles Natur. Tolle Ausblicke auf Orosi. Großes Zimmer mit der besten Dusche in CR.Lecker Frühstück. Parken im Hof. Pool war warm und hat einen Lift für behinderte Personen, gibt es sehr selten. Von der Straße haben wir nichts gehört. Zentral gelegen. Es wird kein Abendessen angeboten, also entweder fahren (laufen ist weit) oder sich was kommen lassen (ohne Probleme) man sucht sich aus div. Speisekarten was aus und läßt anrufen (wenn man kein spanisch kann).

I could focus my review on the hotel itself which well exceeded my expectations, but instead I want to use the characters I have available to me to praise Marta and the staff at Rinconcito Verde. Marta in particular went far beyond what could reasonably be expected from a hotel manager. I think it is fair to say that she took the lemons presented to us by Enterprise rent a car and turned them into lemonade! Minus Marta's interventions our holiday in Costa Rica could have gotten off to a disastrous start. In a very real way Marta set the tone for our visit. She became the first of many Ticos we would meet who, with a quick and welcoming smile, made what can at times be the challenges of international travel completely disappear. Although I believe it to be an inadequate expression of our appreciation, thank you most sincerely Marta!
