Kirkby Lonsdale, only 2 miles away, is a small and relatively unspoilt market town situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The market town is historic and quaint, with a growing reputation for high quality independent shopping, as well as excellent restaurants, cafés and bars. Ingleton, set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a 20-minute drive away. Join the famous waterfalls trail or explore the Whitescar Caves. There’s an abundance of pubs, cafés, bars and restaurants there too, including a cosy and quirky microbar. The Lake District National Park and Lancaster are 30 minutes away. We had a lovely stay here. The location is excellent, The Highwayman and The Plough locally are great for meals or drinks.
